Latest beta is working great on my note 3 and gg1 for notifications and such, but it is eating battery like crazy on my gear.

Update: Uninstalled and reinstalled and battery issue corrected itself. Not sure what it's problem was.

Okay, this doesn't make sense to me...

Set your app up in a TW rom and got it all working, no noticeable battery drainage for most the day. set it up the exact same way in cm11 and my battery on my gear was dropping one percent about every 3 minutes. Uninstalled and reinstalled and got the same results. Not using leash or ping, just basic bt connection. Any thoughts?

*Import Hundreds of Clockfaces in SWApp Link !*

*SWApp Link dev update 0.99o Beta6*

The clock engine is now compatible with wear App Facer .face clockfaces
To change the current clockface : long click on the clock icon on the side panel
(the usual menu doesn't work)

To import a new face (see http://facerepo.com) click on the "+" icon and select a .face a .zip face file
(in case of problem, verify that the files watchface.json and description.json are at the root of the file and not in a subdirectory)
(Weather tags are not working yet and complex formula might not work, it will be corrected)
(Battery level is local device level)

A new option in clock settings will allow you to set a zoom factor if you want to display the clockface bigger

New Working compass on some of the clockfaces. Can be disabled in the clock settings menu

BT and Push status icons are displayed on clockfaces

Previous clockfaces will be back later

This is just the beginning...
... and the clock maker feature will follow...

Thanks to for his great clockfaces and for sparing some time to help me on this project!
Thanks to for the time is spent testing alpha versions and giving me his feedback

*Weather Data in Clock Faces*

*SWApp Link dev update 0.99o Beta7*

Weather information is now working on clock faces !

You can choose which Temp units to use in Clock settings

You can choose a manual location if you don't want to use GPS coordinates

In Companion mode, if your watch doesn't have an internet access the weather data will be provided by the master

Conditional Formulas are implemented. Most complicated ones and formulas using parens won't work yet.

I have got a replacement TS now where BT seem to be more stable (was my BT antenna broken before) and can actually try out the SW App Liink.
The master is a Samsung Galaxy II with CM 11 with working BTLE.

Will SWApp use BTLE if available on both master/companion, will that improve battery?

I have tried using BT (3.0 as the TS has Android 4.2) with push as backup. That works, but eats battery on especially the SGS2.
I do not know if this is lost to BT being started (have not really used it before...) or due to communication.
This may be an issue with CM11 too.
The TS used a little much battery too.

Secondly, could it be possible to add settings to deactivate BT and lockscreen?
(More may shortcuts be needed..)

Use case: I use the TS as companion to some extent, but also for exercising. I use Llama to setup "profiles" with settings, for instance deactivate BT. However, SWApp wants to reactivate if enabled....
Another thing is that the watchface gets in the way when opening the screen. I have locked the screen and cannot sweep it off in rain and with gloves.....
App Shortcuts would not be so hard to implement here I believe.

Edit: The shortcut should probably be to activate/deactivate SW App Link completely.
I probably do not want the sync going over night.

hi, you should disable push backup to save battery.

regarding the shorcuts, they are on my todo list, i'll try to add them as soon as possible

*SWApp Link dev update 0.99o Beta9*

Deep optimization of clock engine, rendering time has been divided by 10
New great Jarvis face from whose 59 layers are rendered at 60fps.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsMz9CO7eLc

User can choose level of rendering acceleration, regular face are working fine with none which is less power hungry (see clock settings)

New face tags supported : Charging status, battery temp, Time zone

Face selector from clock settings fixed

Some Bugs fixed

http://goo.gl/d9p1RV

next update should bring the face generator :)

Anyone that get email notifications on a 4.1 device?
Neither GMail nor standard email app (corporate) is working for me.
Phone records and SMS is OK.

On my zgpax with android 4.4.2 I installed the swapp link app from play store. I installed it too on my note 3, the master. Every time I use the watch, swapp link is buzzy: Swapp link is trying to read all logs. After 20 seconds it starts again. What can I do about this ?

I just updated to 0.99o Beta 10. Maybe I'm missing something obvious but now I dont see an button to launch the clock on the main menu, neither on my TS nor on my phone. Also, when I try to select a clock face (I only have the default ones), it displays the clock but it no longer asks "Do you want to make this the clock face?".
