MortPlayer Music is working fine. song info is displayed and phone reaction is immediatly. all buttons working!*Alternative Mode for Third party Players*
There are two control modes :
*Default for Google Play Music
*Alternative Mode for Third Party Players (emulate physical media button: will work for default player)
Depending of the Player, Song info might not work.
PowerAmp Works Great, Sony Walkman doesn't broadcast Song info.
(choose mode to use on the device that play the music)
Believe you need a SIM for those features to work from what I understand. But I could be and would love to be wrong about that.So I have this running on both my True Smart watch and my note 3 and connected them via the email and by name in the settings screens. They are both on the same WIFI network but my watch does NOT have a sim card. I am using Push and not SMS.
I am NOT getting any text or phone notifications on my watch from my phone. Should I be? I'm confused.

I'm confused because I thought this was supposed to be a COMPANION app, meaning that my watch is slaved to the phone and doesn't need a SIM. If I had a sim in my watch, I wouldn't need a companion app unless they were two different sim numbers and then what's the point really.Believe you need a SIM for those features to work from what I understand. sent from my note 3 running beans.
no need for a sim for 90% of the features.I'm confused because I thought this was supposed to be a COMPANION app, meaning that my watch is slaved to the phone and doesn't need a SIM. I'm still looking for that companion app solution that Omate promised when I pledged kickstarter. I don't want to put a sim in my watch.![]()
I have sent you a private message to help you set the app, did you get it ?I'm confused because I thought this was supposed to be a COMPANION app, meaning that my watch is slaved to the phone and doesn't need a SIM. I have been updating each time an update comes out and I have never been able to use the app on my phone without force closing. On one of the earlier builds several weeks ago, I was able to go through the setup process, but then started getting force closes. Ever since, I can't even get into setup. I have cleared cache and data, fixed permissions, and uninstalled on both phone and TS and after re-installing, I still get force closes on my phone. I even re-flashed my ROM on my phone today and that didn't help. (Verizone Note 2 with Alliance Rom 25)I just updated to the newest version (.932) hoping my force close issue would be gone, but it remains. I have a Verizon Note 2 on Alliance ROM 25. I can open the app to the main page fine, but when I click on any icon, I get a force close. It has done this since the first version you made available.
I realize you need a log to help you fix issues, but I have never submitted a log before. I installed Catlog, and figured out how to record the log, but I don't know how to filter out the parts you need. Any suggestions?
I am really excited to use this app. It looks awesome! (I will be using it with my truesmart as a companion (no sim).
Thanks!
Im running a beans rom on my note 3 and arent having any issues. i did in the first few releases but that was quickly fixed. not sure if beans still has his note 2 roms or if hes part of alliance rom now.I have been updating each time an update comes out and I have never been able to use the app on my phone without force closing. Once I install the app on my phone, I open it and click through the guide. Then it brings me to a page that shows the icons of all of the parts of the apps. Any icon I click on results in an immediate force close.
I am more than willing to send you a log, Cyril, but I need a quick instruction on how to send you exactly what you need. I have never sent a log before. Also, where should I send it.
I am dying to get this app to work. It looks like exactly what I need!
Thanks!
Thanks, Dragonfly. Glad to hear a Beans ROM is working with the app. Beans joined with Alliance ROM on the note 2, so the one I am running is basically the latest Beans ROM.Im running a beans rom on my note 3 and arent having any issues. i did in the first few releases but that was quickly fixed. not sure if beans still has his note 2 roms or if hes part of alliance rom now.
I made sure of all these things (they were already in place) but when I press the battery icon, it says "Instruction has been sent" but nothing else happens on either phone. Note that even though i put the same email address in on both devices, I actually only have that email ACCOUNT set up on my phone. Do I actually have to set up my email account on my watch for this to work.Could you check:
1. That you entered same in email in both device and verify that there is no "space" char at the end (it happened to many people, i will delete those "spaces" in future release"
2. Make sure your devices has an internet access and go back in "This device name" and click ok: this will trigger the registration again
3. Make sure the "This device name" correspond to "Linked device name" from other device
4. check that "Listen to linked device" is not unchecked
Then it should work. Try and click on the battery level, as it's a two way feature it will enable you to check that everything is in order.
To enable Call and SMS notification from you phone to your watch: go in the corresponding setting (icon with the phone and watch) and check in local settings: call notification and sms notification.
I believe email needs to be set on both devices or it has no idea whats its pushin to. Bluetooth on the TS and Callisto 100 is not very reliable, they are working on fixing the BT in the next OTA update.I made sure of all these things (they were already in place) but when I press the battery icon, it says "Instruction has been sent" but nothing else happens on either phone. Irrespective of that, this is not goingto be very useful to me if I have to be on WIFI or have a sim card in both for it to work. What I was invisioning was that it would connect via Bluetooth, with JUST the sim in the phone and no WIFI needed. This should work like Samsung Gear and Pebble does - notifications from you phone to the watch using JUST Bluetooth. Any chance that is happening anything soon?
i just send you a pm. Yes i will add a notification log (for sms and others) , thank for suggesting !Hey @cyrilp, loving your app and it works great! I have one question though...have you thought about working on the SMS feature for when a person receives multiple texts on their TS and the newest one pops up over the previous one, especially while replying back to the older one? Like implementing a swipe feature to show both the oldest and most recent inbound texts within a time period? Sometimes because of not having this feature or option, while typing and replying back to a text, I accidentally hit the remote call button on the text popup and it would call the person without me wanting to.
Just wanted to ask and mention that; don't know if that came into your mind, but thanks anyway!
