Would it be possible to make this app into a service or daemon so that it is always running in the background and would auto start whenever the device is powered up or restarted?

after updating to 0934f, BT connects now between TS and Zopo. But it is still very buggy cause the connection forces closes SWAPP Link on the phone.
Call notification comes prompt at the beginning of ringing.
Able to accept or reject the call..

I have to restart the phone otherwise the app stays in an endless connection scanning loop on the phone....

Push isnt working even if selected. Geolocation or .battery level causes SMS which costs. Findmyphone the same.

Because of this bug, first of all the unstable BT connection and force closing, I cant use this version and again have to go back to 0933c with push services.

Its a great progress to see BT working but its not useable for me in this stage.

Is there any way that the notification on the watch can pop up without first going through the watchface lockscreen (without turning off the watchface lockscreen)?

One other issue I have is that I cannot get the music player control to work from my watch to control my phone, either with the standard google music player or 3rd party ones (Poweramp) using either setting to control this. However, it DOES work the other way - my phone can control the music player on my watch. This is all though bluetooth, and everything else is working fine.

First of all, congratulations for this app. I think apps like this make the difference between a watch and a smartwatch.

I´m using a 2100, 512/4 Truesmart, running Loki´s Imperium Operative (20140305_v2.0 version).

I´m trying to use this app in companion mode (Truesmart without SIM paired with my phone using bluetooth), but there are some options that don´t work.

Both Truesmart and phone (Nexus 5) syncronize without problem (the app shows a notification about it). So, I can do these actions:

- make a phone call or send an SMS from the watch (that is, I select the contact using the watch and the phone makes the call).
- check the phone battery status on the watch, and the watch battery on the phone.
- get the phone GPS location.
- remotely control music playing from the watch.
- make the phone play a ringtone to find it from the watch.

However, I can´t receive any notification from the phone to the watch (incoming phone calls, SMS, whatsapp...). Maybe this could be a configuration issue, because the bluetooth link seems to be correct and stable, and the other functions work right. Could someone who is using this app in companion mode (and receive notifications from the phone to the watch) tell how has configured the app options?

Or just to make it more confusing, i believe you can from the watch do the same thing but check those items on the remote section...

However, if you are running the stock firmware or Loki's (not sure about the Dees_Troy's BT tethering firmware), once the watch goes to deep sleep, the phone will not be able to wake it via bluetooth so you still won't see the notifications on your watch unless you happen to have been using it immediately before...

I think that isn´t like you´re telling. Until now, I have used Notisync and Notify Me and Notify+ to send incoming messages to the watch, and they always have worked right. The problem is I can´t get the messages content (mail, SMS, WhatsApp...), that is, I receive the notification, the app which has received the notification and the sender, but not the content. Because of that, I´m trying any companion app to sync phone and watch, including this fantastic SWApp.
Another examples. I can check the watch battery charge from my phone even hours after last watch screen switching on. And when I receive a notification or a phone call while the watch and phone screen are on, I don´t get any notification on the watch neither.
Or, perhaps, Loki could correct me...

*Remote Launch Apps*

Choose the apps you want to be able to remote launch on your phone in settings ("Select Applications to Remote Launch").

The list will be sent to your watch and you will be able to launch the apps on your phone from your watch.

I'm using it for example in my car. The phone is on his cradle, the app allows me to toggle from navigon to other apps easily.

Sor far only apps that are installed on the watch will display their icon, it will be fixed.

On the phone, if you have Android 4.3 or higher, go to Enable Access to Notifications and enable for SWApps. Under that, go to Select Applications to Listen to. Click on the giant + sign and choose your apps. I have Messaging and Gmail added. I get the SMS text but only the sender for Gmail. If I use it tethered, then I cna at least open Gmail if the sender is importent. I tried the MLB app, but it crashes the watch end.

I've been playing with Augmented Smartwatch Pro but can't get it to send anything either. I'd LOVE the full Gmail info on the watch end.

Isn't our smartwatch supposed to be a watch too ???
Using SWApp Link those last days, many times i wanted to know what time it was and had to close the app just for that...

I first had the idea of the digital clock in the upper left corner (time has already been enabled in notifications for a long time).

Then i thought it would look even better fullscreen !

If you touch the digital clock it displays the analog clock (with BT icon showing if connected or not). Dismiss the analog clock touching it.

If you enable "Show Clock at Startup", it will be shown by default.

If you enable "Show Clock as Background", it will appear in the background. This is not really nice, but i thought i would let the user decide...

If the analog clock is displayed, when a notification is shown, it will get back to the clock instead of the menu when dismissing the notification. (even when the screen was off)

This first clockface is far from perfect, i'm still in holidays and i don't have photoshop on my laptop.

Tomorrow i will explain how you can send me custom clockfaces so that i can add them to the app. (sorry if i don't do it now, it's 4am, i have to go to bed !)

Cheers! Maybe you could do an option that reads in omatefaces or oclock faces if they are installed? Save you having to do extra designs if need be then!

Just load up the play store on your watch and search "swapp link" it will find it. im not sure if its in the omate store. make sure you search with play store.

If its not already installed on the watch you may need to search xda for the play store apk. not sure exactly where it is my watch had it on it.

Is anyone else having battery issues on their phones? With one of the last updates it is absolutely chewing through my battery especially if it cannot fine the Omate. Did not have this issue before one of the latest updates.

why is swapp link working for my sms but not for calls or email?

ok i got swapp link set up and its forwarding my sms messages. shouldnt it forward phone calls too? what do i have set up wrong? also should it forward email in a big message box too? or just show up in your email app?
any help is appreciated.

I've not tried swapp before, so i have no idea what the settings do.

I will confirm than bluetooth is working on stock rom, i'm able to originate calls and send sms from the omate + with some configuration get incoming call alerts and sms messages with bluetooth as the only connection while the omate is on and unlocked.

Now i need to read through the thread and figure out what all the options do and how to best get the omate to wake up on alert

next to the gear icon there's an icon with a bunch of little icons (smartphone, omate, sms, phone, arrows). in here are some settings for call notification and sms notification that should be enabled. I enabled both local and remote not knowing which was the direction i was looking for and this works on stock.

what gear icon are you talking about? is it on the phone or watch? and is it in the swapp link app? i also cant get calls or email on the TS
