Where may I switch on/off LTE on my S4 mini (GT-I9195)? I don't have this possibility in setting (Mobile networks / ... see attached picture). Thanks for your answers.
Thanks. I did it. But when I ckeck settings there is same setings "GSM/WCDMA (auto connect). How do I know that the phone has been turned on LTE (ie except using the application that you suggested)?without root: install free app "ServiceMode Shortcut" from Google Play.
In the app press "Testing" -> "Device information", scroll down to mode selection and choose mode "LTE/GSM auto (PRL)".
Just to clarify; so if my operator doesn't have 4G yet, the option will not show in menu???The option will not show if your sim card / carrier / phone subscription does not have 4G enabled.

Inserting SIM from 4G operator (vodafone) will enable the LTE option?
Well... Have to disagree with you.

And also if your phone is SIM locked...The option will not show if your sim card / carrier / phone subscription does not have 4G enabled.
Your phone must be SIM unlocked and probably you'll need to flash generic (unbranded) ROM.Where may I switch on/off LTE on my S4 mini (GT-I9195)? I don't have this possibility in setting (Mobile networks / ... see attached picture). Thanks for your answers.

That app says "device not supported"without root: install free app "ServiceMode Shortcut" from Google Play.
In the app press "Testing" -> "Device information", scroll down to mode selection and choose mode "LTE/GSM auto (PRL)".
What exactly does this mean - SIM unlock?Well... Have to disagree with you.
Unlocked (SIM lock) my phone, restarted and LTE showed up.
That brings the conclusion : SIM locked ROM(s) have certain function disabled.
I was confused as flashed generic ROM (BTU and DBT) and still no LTE. After SIM unlock and restart LTE shows in option...
