So I'm currently running baseband rd7 (tmo I think) on my att note 8 and I'm impatient for pie... Can I factory reset to get back to att software and then Ota to pie?

I would recommend that you research about pie, there are people who regret the update, others are happy, it is a mixed bag, think carefully before trying

Good advice from winol.i hated pie on note 8 the note 8 is just not made for pie.pie is good on the s10 but oreo on the note 8 is almost perfect.pie on the note 8 is a disgrace

If your rooted your device, you can only flash Pie update with Odin, but before check if pie update suits you
