HTC Droid Incredible 2 was difficult to use after EVO because it had a Cramped Keyboard. I found this beta app over http://beta.swype.com/ . You need to register and open the Confirmation mail on your Phone. One Incredible 2 it gave an error " Sorry! You're not on an android phone, so you cannot download the Swype-Installer". So I downloaded in My EVO and transferred to Incredible to...The work was easy thereafter.
To avoid such issues I am enclosing the installer, you just need to craete an account for yourself.
