Swype not spacing in URL search box

Pretty sure when I first used the phone that swype auto spaced from the url search box in chrome and now it doesn't. Auto spacing is set to on and it will space correctly every where else. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Installed swift key and that will auto space but prefer swype.

Swype never spaced on the url search bar. Swype user since it was first created back on an Evo4G and never did for me. I assume that's intentionally as urls never require spacing.

Swype absolutely spaced in that field before. I went from HTC One M8 and just tested it again to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it spaced fine in the URL/search field. In chrome, it states "search or enter url" in that field. Also, swiftkey spaces fine in that field in chrome.

Just stating how it has always worked for me. I use chrome and the stock Samsung browser. No spacing on both browsers url search bar Galaxy Note Edge here. Never did for me on any device I've owned. Hope you figure it out.
