I have the AT&T Note 1 and comes to rely heavily on the S-Note app. I am ready to purchase the Galaxy Note 8.0 and would like to know how do I SYNC the S-Notes from Note 1 to Note 8.0?

I don't see anything in the Note 1 S-Notes app that resembles "Sync to Samsung" or something like that. What I have is Sync to "Google Docs" or "Evernote".

Also, I don't know if I can do this:

1). Edit an S-Note in Note 1 - let's say the note is called ABC
2). Sync to Google Doc
3). Open S-Note in Note 8.0
4). Sync to Google Doc to get the note ABC
5). Edit ABC in Note 8.0
6). Sync to Google Doc
7). Open and edit ABC in Note 1

hmmm. not sure about the file formats... Foldersync is different beause you can sync not only to dropbox, but to google drive (as I do) or your NAS for example... it's more complete IMHO...

I didn't know S4 have S Note... thought its for the Galaxy Note line only?

How did it sync automatically?
I was just fiddling around and when I opened SMemo on the S4 everything from SNote was there. Then I wrote a memo on S4, opened SNote on the Note, refreshed and it was there. Must sync through the Samsung account. :sly:

Ah, that's interesting. I am wondering how good the S-Notes WITHOUT an S-Pen.

I don't use Samsung Account, thought. I actually froze Samsung Apps.

Samsung account is a good thing, tracks your device and let's you remote lock and remote wipe. I still tie everything into Google rather than Samsung but SNote and SMemo are nice for the multi window feature. You can use a regular stylus to handwrite on the Samsung keyboard on the S4. Just not quite as small.
