System apps? System folder?

Dump anyone, pls!

I tried using this as a guide:

I already have ADB set-up on my PC,didn't seem the entire Android SDK needed to be installed,so,I just went w/what I've already got.

Anyway,I opened up a command window & typed in the command,all I got was su: not found.

This would be the 1st system dump for me,so,it's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong here....
FWIW,my phone is still Bootloader locked/unrooted,if that matters............

You don't need that, just install Fx file manager - it can copy pretty much from system partition to sdcard, without root needed.

Ummmm, you appear to be in the wrong phone forum.
We don't even have root yet on this phone (RAZER PHONE).....

I thought I'd be in the right place seeing that ya'll have ripped out stuff from the razer phone such as the boot animation, so I thought maybe you could also help me find a way to get it installed in a different phone...

If you have root on your phone & already have this Razer animation, IDK what's stopping you from installing it.
Perhaps you should check in the forum specific to your phone..
Otherwise, it makes no sense to ask about performing such on your (non Razer) phone here.....

I don't need kernel sources. I need dump for system partition, as far as we don't have any firmware images)

Can you try pulling the system folder via ADB?

adb pull /system

and if the above does not work, try pulling each folder separately:

adb pull /system/*folder name here*

Let me know if it works.

Nada,just get the error/list of commands available,tried both/system & system/*********..................

Have you tried selecting folders inside system folder & try copy one by one somewhere (some files still won't be copied but it's ok)? I've had people without root on another devices successfully done that before.

Swappa isn't really a thing here. a local store is offering £400 for it in cash so I might take that and put the rest towards a 5T.
