System Volume Random Peaking

Does anyone else's system volume almost randomly jump from wherever you set it to max? Mine does, on several if not all Froyo (2.2 and 2.2.1) ROMs I've tried. I reset it to where I want it, but it's bound to happen again at random.

Can anyone confirm/help/fix this issue?

* I do use Super Manager for task killing when needed (though Darky is good for not needing it)

The only time my phone does that is after I use the navigation. It auto bumps the system volume to max.

After I exit nav the volume isn't reset so I have to go back into settings to turn it back down.
