[CLOSED] T-Mobile 7T Conversion to International WITHOUT unlocked bootloader/SIM unlock!

I can't boot into global ROM. It boots to tmobile rom. I get :
Rebooting into fastboot < waiting for any device > ....The phone displays "简体中文 繁體中文 English", what do I do in this step?
I tried disconnecting phone from laptop and choosing "english" and starting tmobile rom and enabling usb debugging. and connecting back to laptop. Still no luck. It just won't load global ROM

Not sure have you been able to fix it, I was desperated becauce of it until I read a few cmt saying that it was due lack drives and turn out, it is. Please update like instructed in this article OnePlus 7T USB Driver, ADB Driver and Fastboot Driver [DOWNLOAD] | Android ADB Driver and you will be able to true sit back and do nothing when the phone display "简体中文 繁體中文 English" (what acutally is fastbootd). Hope this help.

I have tried the procedure several times, and I am getting the same 2 errors every time:

1.
fastboot flash reserve reserve.img
Sending 'reserve' (259328 KB) OKAY [ 5.521s]
Writing 'reserve' FAILED (remote: '(reserve_a) No such partition')
fastboot: error: Command failed

and 2.
fastboot reboot fastboot
results in the phone rebooting into the T-Mobile branded OS, with broken modem.

If anybody seen this kind of errors, please help!

It is the same brand of a tree. I went through all of that and were miserable, you guy don't have to.

I am still having issues with it...but I am new to this stuff. Probably making stupid mistakes. I haven't even used Windows for years, so I am fumbling around a little. Just got Windows, with .NET framework installed. I clicked on the app "hotdogt_11_O.01_190920 op7t tmo usa patched unlock bootloader.7z" .....Nothing is happening. LOL. Is there anyone in Southern California Area that is willing to do this for me for some money $ I can pay cash or venmo or paypal whatever, I just finally got T-mobile to officially unlock my sim so now I can use different carrier sims in my 7t but when trying to unlock my bootloader and put the international firmware on I have had zero luck. I am running windows 10 and I cant get my phone to be recognized by my pc, no luck at all. I just want the international firmware so I can run dual sims, I already have the dual sim sim card in the phone. Message me if you are anywhere in socal and how much! Here is a patched MSM download tool for TMobile OP7T.
It will bypass the need to sim unlock before unlocking the bootloader, and will also bypass the need of an unlock token file from OnePlus (hence skip the wait period of 1 week to get the privilege to unlock). It will NOT sim unlock the phone.

1) Download the patched MSM download tool: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12y3lO0wIgb2_LSDeVw9x_2C_HjbgZlb_/view?usp=sharing

2) Run the tool, connect your phone in EDL mode (see below how to do it if you don't know), ensure the "sha256 check" is NOT checked, click the Start button and wait until it's completed.

3) The phone will show a red warning saying "device is corrupt", just ignore that and wait some time. It will fallback in fastboot because it's not able to boot. Now run the following fastboot command:

fastboot flashing unlock_critical

4) Bootloader is now unlocked. Update your fastboot executable, otherwise you'll encounter errors and modem issues. Download it here: https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip. I used your method to flash into the international version of the system, but when I upgraded the latest version of the test version 2 system, I restarted and entered directly rec I try to double clear the boot card on the LOGO page, is the international version system unable to double clear?

Hello I would just like to point out that you should put a warning in the OP stating that you will lose widevine L1 certification if you use this procedure. I have not been able to get my L1 certification back no matter what I tried. After flashing the global ROM fastboot images, you will not have widevine L1 if you boot in.

Some have suggested that a persist backup needs to be taken prior to flashing this modded image set. Your post doesn't have instructions on how to do that. The reason is because you probably need root to pull the persist image from stock OOS before you convert.

From computer:
adb shell dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist of=/tmp/persist.img

adb pull /tmp/persist.img persist.img

We run into a catch 22. You need root to pull persist, but you can't get root until you unlock the bootloader. And to unlock bootloader without sim unlock, you need to flash this modded factory image, which will make you lose your unique persist image.

TL;DR : Please clarify to future readers that you'll lose widevine L1 if you decide to use this method for unlocking bootloader without sim unlock.

Works like a charm if all your drivers are updated and correct, have latest platform tools, and press power to pause boot when it restarts from fastboot!

MSM tools don't mind the bootloader lock state. You can flash both locked and unlocked bootloader with it. In all cases, you will end up with a locked bootloader after flashing an MSM rom.
You can find the MSM tools on xda, in the 7T section of the forum.

Hi I using 7t tmo version. I was using 2 Sims 2 weeks ago but I did a flash on my own and it became single sim phone.

How can I make it dual SIM or turn on dual SIM option? Both my imei number were same. How can I bring back that option?

I think you need to flash the Global version, or any version that supports dual sim. I flashed a tmobile oneplus 7t with the Global rom and now mine shows dual sim

Yes. Use the official method of receiving the unlock code for your SIM and then using MSM tool --> unlock bootloader. Here are the steps.
