sometimes I get awfully slow data, and when this happens the 4g icon tells me that it's uploading and downloading something both arrows are filled in. I also had this problem on my s5 anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?
I do not have anything thing backing up or syncing

Are you using the new sim card that came with the phone? Have you done a factory reset? Have you called Tmobile to report the issue? What have you done to troubleshoot the problem?

Happens to me everyday at work. But I attribute it to an overly saturated area. I work at Legacy and DNT where you have shops at Legacy, Ericson HQ, Yum Brands HQ, BofA HQ, JC Penney HQ, Frito Lay HQ, FedEx HQ.

And it's only going to get worse since Toyota HQ, Liberty Mutual HQ and Chase are building in the area.

Only happens on LTE though, I manually switch off LTE and go to 4G(HSPA+ only) and I get excellent signal and can actually use data which leads me to beleive again it's due to over staturation
