I think there are 2 services system update and security update, I think disabling system update should do the trick. Not sure what would not agreeing to terms of service do if the system update took place: it should revert back to old system, but who knows? I definitely will not agree for that kind of garbage on my phone, this so called "security" is designed to secure phone from the user, nothing else. They did something like this before I think with Kitkat, if I remember: completely blocked access to my SD card, I had to use ADB to input some commands to actually use SD card again. Seriously Google, if I want my phone to run like iphone, I would get the iphone.

According to T-Mobile's site, there are 3 phases of software release: Development, Testing and Complete. The Note 10 is categorized in the Development stage, NOT Testing. So the title is a bit misleading. I'm guessing we won't see this until next year, but we can all hope for an earlier release!

The title is not "misleading." When I created this thread and linked the article, the T-Mobile site did show it in Testing phase. It has since changed back to development.

Probably things don't work properly and they needed to back up a little. Frankly I can't remember major system update, without stuff getting broken or finding some new features that I could get really excited about. So what are we looking forward to, this time?

Whatever Android 10 has that we don't already have and whatever the newer version of One UI adds

Package Disabler pro, will deactivate software update, or with adb command as well you don't need root , So all Carriers phones locked you can still block those OTA Updates.

Sent from my SM-N975U using XDA Labs
package disabler pro hasn't worked for months. quit working for me with s10+. No download links anymore in play store. nowhere to re purchase a license (not even from developers site) which ive had to do in the past. CCSWE is the only thing ive found to disable packages now.

Package disabler pro (samsung) IS AVAILABLE in playstore, In fact I use both ccswe and package disabler, one has some features that the other lacks, and viceversa, so combining use is a formidable thing
