Hello Everyone,

I'm going nuts trying to help friends with the new T10 Android CartrimHome 4Runner head unit with dedicated SIM card. I upgraded from the T9 (4/64) now T10 (6/128gigs). When I had my T9, my dedicated SIM cards used were both T-Mobile and ATT with no issues.

Now, there's 8 in our truck group and they have ATT and or T-Mobile which is not working cant connect to the internet all the settings and APN along with automatic network provisioning was completed like mines.

My MINT Mobile MVNO-TMO provider card offers me access to the world and I have checked each trucks settings against mins including turning off SIM card #1 which was CHINA and only assigned SIM card #2 as my slot.
I've had my T9 since 08JUL19 and am very familiar with how it connects and am stumped by the new T10.
Y'alls help is greatly appreciated.

BTW we all have 5G LTE/4G LTE SIM cards and only my MINT MOBILE works in my China head unit VS my other friends. Their SIMS work in their cell phones when they tested it out.

Thank you.

Looks like it might be another FYT unit, the same factory as some of the Joying, idoing, eonon, and teeyes. You'll need to post the Android system info, directly from the settings menu.

Curious, what does the reseller "cartrimhome" suggest when contacted for support.

I have the same unit from cartrimhome ums512_1h10_Natv , I can't get GoogleFi Data SIM to work, which uses T-mobile. It sees networks, but won't show any signal bars. It shows SIM1 and SIM2. Orignially it showed SIM1 on China Telecom. Shut off SIM1 and did reset. The SIM Dongle plugs into back molex pins. From tear down pictures above I don't see an internal SIM.

I reworked the solder job. I have Yellow wire floating. Still no Data connection, but now I can open the Dialer and send Android hidden codes to debug. The TJM SIM tray was not glued it popped open with exact o spudger tool pry on the cable side, snapped open

I hope someone can confirm the wires on this TJM SIM found on topway ts10 uis7862

Just bought a T10 and a dedicated data line SIM from T-Mobile and the device seems to be locked on to China Telecom, did the solder job on the sim tray fix the issue? I haven't pulled mine apart to see but the sim tray looks different from what y'all have.

Is there any way to unlock network bands as you can unlock a mobile phone to work on other networks.. I'm guessing it's not an impossible task as a headunit is basically a mobile phone in its own right.

Looks like it might be another FYT unit, the same factory as some of the Joying, idoing, eonon, and teeyes. You'll need to post the Android system info, directly from the settings menu.

Curious, what does the reseller "cartrimhome" suggest when contacted for support.
