Hey guys can you try this with our tablets. Got it from the xda portal and read some intersting things in the s6 and note 4 thread and theorized it may work.
Our tablets suffer the same symptoms as with the others since 5.0.2
Its working on my tablet, hope it does on yours
Thanks to @MiniMoose

I advise to you back up first before anything else, its not my fault for whatever happens to your device, do this at your own risk.

go to root/system and then look for build.prop file and enter the ff:
HTML:
ro.config.dha_empty_max=36
ro.config.dha_cached_max=12
ro.config.dha_th_rate=2.3
ro.config.dha_lmk_scale=0.545
ro.config.sdha_apps_bg_max=70
ro.config.sdha_apps_bg_min=8
ro.config.oomminfree_high=7628,9768,11909,14515,16655,20469
Then clear cache and dalvik too then reboot

tell me if it works for you guys

Offtopic: for flickering problems i resolded the battery pins. It wasn't a lollipop problem, same issue appeared on 4.4.2. Now i wait to see if the problem is solved.

I've got a T705Y version in Australia on KitKat... Which regions firmware would be best to flash to Lollipop with? I don't want to run into any problems with the devices radio.

And where would be the best place to download the firmware from? Sammobile is far too slow.

Cheers

    Hi everyone! I'm new with Odin and flashing stuff with this tool. I have the Zip file downloaded. What's next? Thanks...

    See if those instructions work...

    Be careful with downloading Odin, there's a ton of places that look like Odin but are actually Viruses..

    EDIT, I just put the real version of Odin 3.09 up on Mega for ya.

    Brief review

    I didn't wait for italian OTA update and went ahead with odin.
    I first tried the Hong Kong ROM, and I liked a lot. But I had only a problem, ROM language was italian, but Keyboard was only english.
    To be brief, I solved this only problem installing the NEE (North Europe) ROM and I've found all the languages I need.

    Another little inconvenient, related to Lollipop and not to region, was that my Tablet was near full. As you would have to know, ART needs more apps space than Dalvik, so procedure wasn't able to "apply upgrade" to every app.
    I solved this factory resetting and using Google default restore. I'm satisfied about how it worked, for example I found the exact Nova Launcher desktop with all widgets and configuration I've put. In most of apps it's enough to log in again. In few words, it's not so powerful like Titanium but it's enough to be satisfied without any root.
    I tested SD Card writings with Total Commander, now it works after you enable the app, another reason to root BEFORE.

    I didn't root because warranty of course, and because too many important apps will not work like my bank apps adn Sky Go.

    I like a lot the new graphic and animations, now I can see them all over a lot of apps, it's a real pleasure even if I continue to prefer a darker interface. I even like the lock screen notifications, I'll tryto explore better any new option.

    The battery is much much better, I don't think in miracle but probabily tablet deserved a calibration I tried before without success. I'm quite sure that resetting to factory state helped. Before I was losing 35-40%/hour SOT, and 5-6% screen off, I was ready to bring tablet in Samsung laboratories and I exactly waited for testing it again with Lollipop.
    Well, I was right, for example this morning after 3h 13 minutes and 1h 18m SOT I've lost 23%: it's near three times better.

    Finally, before I had lags for sure, now they completely disappeared and I feel the tablet even so fast that became quite difficult to control :)

    This is the first time I use Odin, maybe I'll flash again when italian version will arrive just to have the real official one but I'm sure I'll not need any refactorying.

    I would say yes, here's the instructions...

    Extract (unzip) the firmware file
    Download Odin v3.09
    Extract Odin ZIP file
    Open Odin v.3.09
    Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
    Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
    Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
    Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
    Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
