Well it just came out and it is exactly the same from the outside as a T810. But Samsung _is_ calling it the Tab S3 in at least one of their documents. I hope not, because I'd like an upgrade and be able to buy a Tab S3 with 6G of RAM and a faster CPU....
I don't see the Tab S3 coming, at least this year. There are usually more rumors for Samsung's stuff. All we have about the S3 are a semi-reputable report that it will be announced Sept 1 and a few spec sheets that are identical to the 2016 S2.
Well the good thing is the T713 and T813 are very similar so once one gets CM (if) then it won't be hard to port it to the other one.Just be glad you don't have to get an iPad. It's like $100 more for the same storage capacity, heavier tablet, lower specs, less freedom and less power.
I wish I had the extra money to donate a $400 tablet.

The T813 just came out. It is not that surprising there aren't piles of ROMs for it. Give it time. Especially if what people said is true and T810 doesn't get Nougat then people will be focusing on T713/813 and T719/819.

I've got an iPad 2 and I second that statement. I think Apple wants the updates to slow down their older products so that people buy the new ones.
Everyone I talk to who has an Apple device says they haven't noticed any slow down over the OS versions. Every Apple device I own is slower even in incremental updates. It's weird. Maybe poweruser stuff slows it down more or something.

8.4 on the Mini is unbearable and I can only imagine 9 being worse.
My 3 with 8.4 is better than the Mini (which is weird), but it's still horrible.
