How did I not see this - its literally identical in every way to our device. I can't find a build for the A9 though. Is this msm8976?If you want a starting point, the A9 device tree is here:

Much of the source used in the msm8976 is from the msm8952 as the SOC's are very similar.

Like if there is a cm13 device tree for the a9 why is there no cm13 for the device?
At least it gives a base to work from.
Did you get any luck with the last kernel and insmodding the wlan driver?

as for the theme itself, I've put it off for now in favor of getting Cyanogenmod working (I'm getting the device tree tweaked up now).
I agree with that prioritization. If it turns out that Assurant covers unlocked devices, then I can root, maybe be a beta tester for CM?

If you're being insured by anybody but Samsung, you should be fine. Only samsung checks the knox status afaik.
I've realized there's a problem with what I bought. It's an extended warranty, not the drops and spills protection. I'm seeing if I can return it and buy insurance from Squaretrade. We'll see. If I get the Squaretrade insurance I might be able to root this right away.
The extended warranty only covers what the normal one would. I thought I was getting protection from cracks and hard bricks
