How did I not see this - its literally identical in every way to our device. I can't find a build for the A9 though. Is this msm8976?If you want a starting point, the A9 device tree is here:

Awesome. Why is there no build yet? Also, why does boardconfig.mk show msm8952? Thanks.
Much of the source used in the msm8976 is from the msm8952 as the SOC's are very similar.Awesome. Why is there no build yet? Also, why does boardconfig.mk show msm8952? Thanks.
Like if there is a cm13 device tree for the a9 why is there no cm13 for the device?Much of the source used in the msm8976 is from the msm8952 as the SOC's are very similar.

Does this mean an increase in the likelihood of a CM build for the 813?Holy cow - I completely forgot about that. On it now . Thanks
I sure hope so.Does this mean an increase in the likelihood of a CM build for the 813?
Sorry to nag, but what happened with the dark theme? Have you had time to work on it? (Do I need to be rooted?)I sure hope so.
you'll need to be rooted.Sorry to nag, but what happened with the dark theme? Have you had time to work on it? (Do I need to be rooted?)
I agree with that prioritization. If it turns out that Assurant covers unlocked devices, then I can root, maybe be a beta tester for CM?you'll need to be rooted.
as for the theme itself, I've put it off for now in favor of getting Cyanogenmod working (I'm getting the device tree tweaked up now).
Hooray! Cm13 will be fabulous in this tablet!you'll need to be rooted.

Don't get your hopes up - my knowledge of this is very limited.Hooray! Cm13 will be fabulous in this tablet!![]()
If you're being insured by anybody but Samsung, you should be fine. Only samsung checks the knox status afaik.I agree with that prioritization. If it turns out that Assurant covers unlocked devices, then I can root, maybe be a beta tester for CM?
I've realized there's a problem with what I bought. It's an extended warranty, not the drops and spills protection. I'm seeing if I can return it and buy insurance from Squaretrade. We'll see. If I get the Squaretrade insurance I might be able to root this right away.Don't get your hopes up - my knowledge of this is very limited.

What's wrong with it?I've realized there's a problem with what I bought. It's an extended warranty, not the drops and spills protection. I'm seeing if I can return it and buy insurance from Squaretrade. We'll see. If I get the Squaretrade insurance I might be able to root this right away.
The extended warranty only covers what the normal one would. I thought I was getting protection from cracks and hard bricksWhat's wrong with it?
