Yesterday, I updated my T813 to Nougat and I find the lockscreen now has a delay when using a pattern. Example - I press the home button (and screen turns on), I swipe then enter my pattern but the tablet takes a good 2 seconds before actually going to the home screen.

BTW, fingerprint works as fast as usual, it's only the pattern which has a delay

Has anyone else had this issue?

Jun-3 2017 got OTA update a few weeks ago. T813 doesn;t have problem connecting to 5Ghz wifi but connection is slow. Appears to be capped at about 10MB. Whenever I run speedtest on 5Ghz I get 10MB uploads. Disconnect from 5Ghz, rerun speedtest and I get 80MB uploads. Go back to 5Ghz rerun speedtest 10MB. Can reproduce this every time.

I guess I am stuck not using 5Ghz.

Yeap, thanks for the tip. I was able to connect to the 5Ghz but its slower than my 2.4Ghz speed wise and with wifi analyzer app, it reads the 5Ghz channel as 2.4Ghz. I gave up and just using 2.4Ghz. The Tab S3 didn't have this issue and i don't want to spend that much for 5Ghz.

EDIT: finally got it to work but it can be slow at times though.

5G Connections issues...revisit

Came back here to update my post from a week ago. My issue was a loss of 5G signal but only on certain channels. I contacted Samsung and of course they had not heard of any issues like mine. Asked me to do a hardware reset. I had received the OTA update in early May. After that update I performed a hardware reset. It was several weeks after that that I noticed the 5G connection issues.

Anyway I performed another hardware reset a few days ago but did not fix my issue. I was in the process of gathering data to again send the info to Samsung. Last night while in bed reading I decided to check again for a software update. And it showed one available. So I downloaded it and let it install. Figured I'd wait till today to look to see what updated. Funny though the Android version is the same as it was prior however now for whatever reason the 5G issue is gone. I can now connect to both the lower band and upper band channels without an issue. So something about that update fixed my Tablet so that it now sees the upper bands/channels.

Prior I was on the T813XXU2BQD1 and still show the same thing now. Perhaps it was some other minor revision.

Thank Samsung, as I thought I had to enroll in Gieco to be able to save money but this update has prevented me from going out and looking for a new device.

Yeap, I got an OTA update this morning, did a factory reset afterwards and I'm guessing the OTA update fixed my 5Ghz and slow wifi speeds. Before I had to change 5Ghz to channel 40 for the Tab to see it (thanks for the person who suggested it) but now it recognizes all the high channels as before on MM. I was extremely frustrated as surfing on the web was like I was on a DSL connection. I was about I was about to give up by doing a factory reset and either sell or give it to a family member but the OTA update as @bamlnArk has mentioned, it has fixed the 5Ghz issue.

Is there an ODIN install-able archive with the latest OTA (the one that fixes WiFi) yet? I've held off upgrading mine because of the 5Ghz WiFi issue, but now it looks ready to roll.

I wish I could add more info myself. I honestly expected a change to show up in the Android revision number. I did take a screen shot of the software update notice. It wasn't a large update. I was looking at getting the T813OXA2BQD1 image and reflashing the tablet suspecting a bad/corrupted OTA image.
