Alright guys, I might be asking the golden question here!

But, why does this T95 4GB 64GB device just keep restarting itself? Soon as I try to use any app or even manage the settings, it eventually just reboots itself!?

I have scoured the web for answers, can anyone help with this? I've got the latest firmware version 27 which I believe was released in June 2021,so I'm baffled about this as I've literally JUST bought this POS lol!

Hello everyone. I read the whole thread before posting this. I am attaching the two sides of my board as well. I bought it from here. It is supposed to be an H96 Max H616 4/64 version. It does have bluetooth which I have been using with a keyboard. WiFi does not list my 5G network though, only the 2,4G one. The stock firmware does NOT have a root switch in developer settings. Can you please confirm which board version I have and suggest me the latest/best firmware to flash? Thanks a lot in advance.

UPDATE:
I found this thread on 4pda and I managed to install the rooted firmware they have, which appears to be the latest stock version (20201124) with the addition of root. After installing Magisk v23 apk, I had root access and installed Adaway. The front display is working normally. The box can also detect 5G wifi networks now! I lost the back button functionality from my third-party remote but I was able to restore it using the Button Mapper app. I believe this is the best firmware I can find for now. I will let you know for any additions or new firmware I find.

I need them as well, vpn settings missing, cannot run `OpenVpn for android` to auto connect on boot.
Best contact seller to pass the info to factory. Sometime they do fix things.

this isn't the same box that this thread is about, the box in this thread is supposedly android 10.
the little I've learnt about cheap Chinese TV boxes is that the model number means almost nothing. there are probably 10 different T95 boxes on the market. the companies making these boxes not seeing specific device naming as an issue indicates they don't see them as products they intend to stand behind. they're produced, sold and forgotten.
even products from the same manufacturer with the same model number can have different components making them incompatible with their namesake devices.
people open up their boxes to identify the chips so they can have a better idea about which firmware might work on it.
buy a UGOOS box or a Beelink if you want some more real.

There are a few clones available of this model , eg the justop nanomax allwinner H6 is a clone of the t95 max , they also brought an android 10 version out which is the same as the t95.
I messed around with them for a while but they're all crap tbh , buggy firmware , no support .

I bought an ugoos am6 plus and run slimbox rom on it and have not looked back since .
There was one custom firmware for the T95 that made the box a bit more usable , however as you say they are forgot about and most links to the customised roms are dead .

Aida64 is pretty reliable at showing what your device is running , if you're not too sure or don't think its accurate pop the casing off and have a looksee.

I got T95H 2gb/16rom Allwinner around one week and Netflix 4.16.1 works fine for the remote. i just saw there's 4.16.7 on Apkmirror. I'm ain't positive sure about the resolution.. but i think it's 854x480.

Maybe this will help to future/now users..... i got me the cheapest box on amazon.de. It's T95H Allwinner H616.

Comes with Android 10 and root switch (i ain't joking), preinstalled apps like APKpure, Aptoid tv, AirScreen., Kodi . etc. Wich ofc i deleted them. They can't be uninstalled, on every boot they keep showing up.

The native DPI of the device it's 213 (tvdpi), but the android it's fixed to 160dpi, 1280x720 px. So the latest Android TV Disney+ app can be used if you change the DPI from 160 to at least 195, just enough to change the settings in Disney+ to "save" data if you wanna watch... and after that restore to the original DPI (if you wanna)

I don't wanna bother more to flash ROMs and stuff. For the price i got what i needed.. watching on TeaTV without streaming or HDMI. And Tubi, Plex, Kodi,Prime, IPTV over 7000 channels... and other stuff

merhaba açılış logosunda kalan t95 bu yazılım ile düzeltim sayenizde. versiyon x27 yükleyince wifi açılmıyor, a27 versiyonunda ise wifi düzeldi. tek sorun hafıza 2/16gb görünüyor?

hello.. i have a Sidiwen T95 Android 10.0 4GB RAM 32GB ARM Allwinner Cortex-A53 with WiFi 2.4G and 5 Ghz ,Ethernet, USB 3.0.

my original Firmware was 10.1.A19 (with root switch, netflix / amazon / aptoid / kodi / google play). Because the OTA update never was working, the seller send me links to update it with this version : T95-H616-A29-0110
