Howdy, folks. Had a T813 for about a half year now, but have not done anything in the way of a custom ROM - I just rooted the stock MM firmware and ran with it.

I'd like to now put a Nougat ROM on the machine, but for some reason, Windows is not mounting the SD card in the tablet. There are some files I'd like to archive just in case things go "big-bad". If you have any insight, please point me in the right direction?

Also, since I haven't yet flashed TWRP on this machine, any warnings or guides would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Make sure that you have mtp enabled in usb settings.
Check your drivers and ensure the device is detected in device manager.

Seems I'm not seeing any option to select between charge and USB. I have installed the Samsung USB Drivers for Mobile Phones (assuming it's the same) to no avail. Windows 10 is not recognizing the tablet, or its internal storage.

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually swiping down when a USB device is connected gives you a choice.

Yep. That's the driver I installed. But no go. I'm not seeing the USB/Charge option.

My plan is to flash the tablet with another ROM anyway. Right now, I'm stock rooted with (if memory serves) CF Autoroot. So, can I use Odin (or something else) to offload my data until I get to where I want to be?
I've had this same issue at times with various devices. Fixes that have worked for me are:

1. Try a different USB port on your computer. In my case my ports on the front were not working but the back ports worked fine.
2. Try a different cable. I had one fail just this past week.
3. Find the drivers on your PC and delete them manually, then reinstall from scratch. Not sure why this worked but it did in a couple of cases.

Worst case you can remove your SD card and plug it directly into your PC, then copy any files between that you need to save. Also, just asking the obvious here, do you have "USB debugging" turned on in Developer Options? I am assuming you do but ya never know. ;)
