If you are looking for the "Development" its in the \Settings at the very bottom, above the "About Tablet" :D

I see there is still no way to root 4.2.2, am I correct? So is there a way to upgrade to 4.2.2 and keep root I'm on WiFi only model and wonder if to root before the update comes? Thanks.

Several people have reported that if they configured SuperSU as being a system app prior to updating to 4.2.2, they successfully retained root access after updating OTA (not flashing) to 4.2.2.

That is how I did it.
Flash .307 , root it with v17, update supersu, make it system (needed 2 times, 2 restarts), ota. 244 and still have root.
Just perfect.

Use the tablet's Update Center app to download and install the firmware update via WiFi (i.e., OTA, Over The Air) or use Sony Mobile's PC Companion to download and install the firmware update via USB or Wifi.

You got the "SGP321 (10.3.1.A.0.244) is not supported" message because ... well ... DooMLoRD's tool does not support 10.3.1.A.0.244. His tool was created before 10.3.1.A.0.244 existed and he has not revised his tool since 10.3.1.A.0.244 was released, and I believe he may never revise his tool because a few weeks ago he said he was no longer going to do any developer work on the Xperia Tablet Z. Hopefully, he will prove me wrong and revise his tool in the near future. Are you now without root access? If yes, then read upwards in this thread and you find how to regain root access.

I'm not 100% sure because before i could not use adb root now i can but its also complaining about missing su bins and many root check tools from g play says its not rooted.

Read what DooMLoRD said HERE. DooMLoRD does not have an Xperia Tablet Z.

What i got from that was he had sgp 321 and he was not developing för sgp 312.... so then it is end for tablet z then i presume...
I recall DooMLoRD saying in an earlier post that he did not have any model of Xperia Tablet Z. In his signature, the devices he lists as having are Sony Xperia Z, SP, T, and S. He is currently posting in forums covering those devices.
