Very few of you will know/remember who I am. Currently I have the US Verizon HTC Trophy (mwp6985) with the WP7.5 Mango update. I'm still interested in cooking but I know most the Chef community won't really work with us old school chefs especially since I'm coming to the WP7 game kind of late. BUT I have cooked for Samsung Omnias and Omnia IIs...

My biggest interest would be to bring Tango to Omnia 2 (sporting 800mhz cpu & 256mb RAM). There is a Hauwei or ZTE device that's similar in specs to Omnia II but of course would take some work to make everything work... This is something I'd like to take on if I can find the proper files (Tango dump, etc).

Sure, sounds dumb and whatnot but wouldn't hurt til I get more info on how possible it is... I just am not in love with the Trophy and it's really pissing me off that WiFi sharing is blocked among other things...

Anyone want to contribute (files, links, input, etc)

Otherwise- if anyone uses Twitter, tweet Verizon to support more features #SUPPORTTROPHY

Its not just about RAM, it also has to have at least 800Mhz of CPU speed, but only a few WM devices have this speed, and also unsure if Tango will be supporting more CPUs other than the QSD8250,MSM7x30 and MSM8x55.

So far in GSMarena, these are a few WM devices that have minimum specs to run Tango.

And also lets not forget the Toshiba TG01/TG02 and HTC HD2.

If Tango ever supports other CPUs, then these three Samsung devices will be lucky enough to run it, although it is unlikely due to the dedicated graphics instead of the Adreno 200/205.

No, the fact that they are lowering to 800MHz speed has nothing to do with Omnia 2. Unless the CPU is ARMv7 core, it WON'T WORK. It is like trying to do SSE instructions on old 386 CPU...
