Hi everybody,
Does someone know how to create a force mms connect with Tasker ?
I explain : on CM11 based Roms, if you don't turn on data, its impossible to send or recieve an mms. I search how to auto enable data when i send or when i recieve an mms as TW Roms. In CM Roms there isn't an CSC folder so we can't modify others.xml or features.xml.

Tasker health step counter
Anyone have the Tasker health step counter working on S4? It actually works/counts for me but I can't figure out how to reset the counter each day. I created event when "steps taken" reach 100, it flashes "Steps %evtprm1" and copies it to Zooper variable for display on my homescreen.
It seems to reset the step count occasionally, but not daily as logical/desired. Help says disabling the profile, disabling or reinstalling tasker causes count to reset. I want to control the reset, so it happens each day at midnight.

I have same bug, phone started talking today in briefing, not good. I've been looming for a fix all week.Don't know about that accessibility bug you're talking about, but I'm a longtime Tasker user and I can tell you that it works flawlessly on my S4.

Does anyone have a good battery saver profile? I've been trying to come up with one but doesn't seem to make a difference!

Try wifi activation at cell location and f.e. switch to 2g or deactivate mobile data when screen is off. If u have a custom Kernel u can also set a lower cpu frequency when screen is off.
Turn off Bluetooth and GPS and lower screen brightness but beside that u won't see any noticeable improvement in battery life.

Tasker may be the wrong tool for this job.. Your ROM should have some form of battery saver options (eg. in LiquidSmooth go to Settings > LiquidSmooth > Advanced > Battery Saver, other roms have variations on same theme) and use Synapse for maximum battery.
With Tasker u can do the same as every battery saver tool and more. And u can set everything to your own needs.
Yea just kinda trying different profiled to get what I need wondering if anyone got any good ones that they recommend!

%Muted question
On my S4, %MUTED stays "off". Never goes to "on". Not sure why. On S3, all good.
Have you had any luck with variables? I use %MUTED to check mute status and set my LED to solid red. The task works perfectly on my S3, not on my S4 (I9500). Any ideas?I've recently discovered Tasker** and i really loved it so i though that i'd better creat a thread so other people could do the same and by the same way this is an S4 Special Edition so we can share our profiles to optimise our phones.

So here we go with my profiles :
- Screen brightness :I want that my screen brightness is at it's highest when i'm outside and at it's lowest when i'm home.
How-To :
0. Disable Auto-Brightness
1. Creat a new "State" (+)
2a. Select "Sensor"
2b. Select "Light level"
2c. FROM xx TO xx (here it depends on you NOTE : FROM value must be less the TO )
2d. Personally : From 90 to 100 *
3. It will propose you to creat a new task : Name it Outdoor light and click on the check icon
4a. Add a new action (+) -> Display -> Display Brightness -> Go Max (255) and let the "Immediate Effect" Checked *
4b. Now go back the profiles menu and keep holding on "Outdoor light" so you can add an exit task
5. Add an exit task : Name it Indoor Light and click on the check icon
6. + -> Display -> Display Brightness -> 45 (Here put the value that fit you)

- Wifi-Auto On : I want that my phone connect to my WIFI automaticly when i get home.

1. + -> State -> Phone -> Cell Near

1. + -> Event -> Sensor -> Shake -> Left-Right
2. Task -> Plug in -> Secure Settings -> Wake Device -> Screen & Keyboard Lights On

Really great app. I have just started to explore it's capabilities. Perfect for bluetooth connection with my car when in dock. Before it connected randomly to my car from the house if I forgot to turn off bluetooth.
This probably isn't the place to ask this but I have been using tasker for a while and recently just installed safestrap but for some reason my phone has been acting up. Such as it changes my keyboard back to the original keyboard also it turns tasker off I have to go into the app to turn it back on!

Profile Questions
Ok So I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I am wanting Tasker to do 2 main things for me.
1. I want to be able to say "Mute" to set all volumes to mute, regardless of whether or not the screen is on or off, and regardless of whether or not I have music playing. (Example: I'm at work at the desk and the boss comes around, I can say "mute" to stop audio without reaching for the device.) Also, is it possible to do this without having to say "Ok google" first?
2. I want to be able to lower CPU Frequency to 500mhz, 3G and 4G disabled, and battery saver turned on automatically if these three conditions are all met:
1. Screen off.
2. Device is plugged in.
3. No Music is playing.
PS: OpenMIC doesn't seem to like my phone, and the "Listen for ambient noise" option in Autovoice completely disabled my voice commands.

i found a way to take selfies of myself in complete darkness. and this is pretty stupid:
make a white overlay (for example) at the top of your screen after increasing brightness to max. you can toggle the overlay on/off with a button you put on top of your camera app. you won't see a part of your screen but it still works pretty good. the screen produces enough light to make pics which are not too bad considered the situation. the overlay takes about a third of my screen.

use wifi near condition if you dont have pass to your workplace net and that should/can trigger continous mode in autovoice/tasker too exit task is continus mode off
leave your cpu as it is ,useless your kernel integrented setup is more clever as your"manual "setup is it dosnt needs/uses resources Mhz gonna go down anyway /if it dosent put some kill app or pause intent in your task/if screen off and you dont play music blabla... its gonna run on minimum MHZ anyway
1 more thing : maybe you need flash screen to de/activate "some task" can find tutorial to that on autoapps site

if your cpu is running on higher freqv. as 500 with no app use!! change rom or kernel , thats a joke
BATTERY SAVER? LOL whats that ? changes nothing except thing what u can setup manually too.... so make tasks in your new work profile for those settings

Talking notifications

1) I would love to have a talking clock... i.e it just speaks the time every hour... like say... 11 am, 12 pm etc
2)I want it to speak out my notifications.. Like say... John calling... Whatsapp message from John-where are you? read my every single notification.

if i remember well you cant capture whatsapp message only with tasker ,but this is my old profile made that for 1 year about can use that to understand whats happening thats why the txt file /to chck what is in there ,you need to learn how to use tasker there are millions of tutorials on youtube either mate
SO this 1 is gonna read only the name how sent message by whatsapp , and ask if you want to hear it or not or answer it(but thats a another profile/task )but worked for every other app name ,and message:

and this is my new profile ,is asking also if i want to hear it or not ,and if i wont to answer it or not and sending answer automaticly too .but with autonotification/<---is a must have for that / and autovoice /just repleaced tasker voice,more function and i need those for correct my spelling on hungarian/ you need to buy those from playstore,but as i sad i think only whatsapp is where i couldnt capture the message part ,worked for viber and by other apps without autoapps too

How would you make WiFi turn off automatically if it doesn't connect just like you state here...
