The new adb wifi action allows that. It was introduced in version 5.9.2 of the app.

Hi experts, sorry if this has been asked before. I would like to use Tasker to check if my phone is locked and trigger the revoke permission for camera in WhatsApp to protect my pop up camera from accidental opening during incoming WhatsApp video call. Attached is my created xml and thus far, not working. Any experts can take a look and see what went wrong

hello there, im new to tasker, do you mind to share how to setup tasker to make sure the whatapps camera permission everytime i locked my screen?

i can see you are using poco f2 as well the popup camera is giving me headache..., i've set the same display state off then trigger the xml task, but after i locked my screen and check the permission, it's still "Allow", any other settings that i miss out?

How can you check the permission when your screen is locked? Why don't you make a test WhatsApp call and see if your camera pops up? You need to grant permissions to tasker for it to be able to work properly.

my bad, i mean when i unlocked and check the app permission its still showing "Allow" for the camera permission. and yes its still pops up even the screen is off. mind to share what permission to grant?

Run the task manually and see if it changes the permission, if not, then there is something wrong with your task...

Notification gives you the sender and the email subject without even looking at your, for example when driving your car, at least you know who sent the email, and what is the talking about, also i am still working on how to reply to the email without touching your phone, handy also when driving or hands busy
