Hello Guys !!!

KitKat is here !!! :D Okay , it's not a Rom , but you can already taste some Kitkat chocolate with these flashable zips :)

Update 1 : Caution !!! This will not work until we get an AOSP Rom that allows this !!

There are 4 zips :

1- Apps ( including the new launcher and the new camera !!! )
2- KitKat Sounds
3- KitKat Bootanimation
4- KitKat Fonts

How to proceed ?

1- Go to this link first and install KitKat theme : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AJ.theme.kitkat
2- Put the dowloded files in the recovery and reboot into it
3- Flash them then reboot
4- You have a NEW device NOW !!! :)

N.B

== Before proceeding, make sure your apps are updated to the last versions
== If an application does not work , just disable it ( Clock for example)
== You will find some applications which are duplicated, chose the newer ones and disable the others (or leave them as they are)
== Editing pictures in the new Gallery does not work ( for some poeple )
== This work is originally not mine, I'm just sharing :)
== Do this at your own risk !

Downloads :

1- Apps == https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7mYkUxxvUX4bXhWRXYwbkNleDg/edit?pli=1
2- Sounds == http://d-h.st/feF
3- Bootanimation == http://d-h.st/4kc
4- Fonts == http://d-h.st/yAJ

Glad I asked. I'd love to root my device but I'm too scared to pull the trigger. Looks so confusing... Lol.

You also need to have a custom rom like CM that allows theming.

Flashing this on Stock Asus is a sure way to bootloop :)

rooting is easy. But this mod fail, don't even have rom for 701 yet. Maybe by time it comes out it may very well be kit kat rom.
Sorry guys, I thought the Asus stock rom allowed that !!!
