It's not the update, I did not run the update in one tablet and Netflix became L3 anyway.

Can you please confirm, do you have the international variant Lenovo P11 Tab Pro not the one sold in China Xiaoxin Pad Pro?
Sorry, i have the chinese version, but i installed the ROW Rom and changed the region codes, so it should be the same.

My pad pro did the update too and now widevije l3 with no Dolby hdr.
I had changed the region code in the dialer before the update was applied.
According to DRM INFO app tab is widevine l1

That's really strange, you are the first one I heard still has L1 in Netflix.
Would you mind double check again if Netflix Playback Specification says L1?
It would also be great if you could give this information (skip whatever you do not want to share), this is from mine:

Now i'm L3 too.
I'm super sure, that right after the update, i was L1, so i´m guessing it wasn't the update that cause it.

The "good" news is that people with Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (not Xiaoxin) are having the same problem so is more likely that is going to be solved.

Certification is not the problem. My tab was only recently certified and Netflix has been happy about widevine l1 for almost a year. If you want to certify the device using the dialer method to change the county to something other than China seems to do the trick

Delete Netflix Data and uninstall Updates, then install Netflix-6.26.1_build_15_31696.apk from apkpure or so. Check your ID in Netflix and try Test patterns. If it is o.k then update with com.netflix.mediaclient_7.120.0_build_7_35589-35589.apk. This is the last working version with HD for me.1The previous version was already Android 11, to be honest I am not sure if I would be able to read with the previous lowest setting.
I'll check tonight how do they feel compared, meanwhile you can see a picture in my second post but it's a bit too exposed, so it's actually darker than that.1I did not try a factory reseet, switched auto brigthness on and off many times.

Quite strange I did not get the update on the second tablet yet.1I checked with Display Tester from PlayStore.
1% of new ROM is same as 12% of old one.
I am using DCI-P3 Standard on both.
Even with same perceived luminosity i like more how it looks in the new ROM but I think it depends from the fact that in the tablet with the old ROM I have a tempered glass over and in the other one nothing.
