Question [TB132FU] Future Custom Rom support for new variant of Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022

Most of us have the fake global firmware, so we might not be able to assist fully, but by the sound of it, sounds like a problem with the app compatibility. I tried Zoom and it works on the one with global version.

For Netflix, this is a weird problem. Maybe the seller unlocked the bootloader? Try to see if you have any better luck by using Netflix inside KODI. There is a Netflix addon online you can search and install.

Another user is helping us get a copy of the global ROM, maybe you want to try it once available. Before flashing it, some help backing up the Chinese ROM and sharing it would be really great for the community.

May i ask how do you know what type of firmware the device have? If its fake or chinese rom?

Im not sure as to how to back up the Chinese ROM to share with you guys

Xiaoxin Pad Pro (2022) - 11.2" Problems

- Can't do video calls, have flicker problem when calling then shuts down and reboot.
- Netflix still on L3 even if its read as L1

Hope you can share some info on how to fix the Video Call issue or is it a bug on ZUI 14?

Have you OTA update to the latest? Do that then reinstall Netflix should fix it.

when i tried to click the auto update it says that it is up to date.
does it have any other way to update it?

Use the VPN a few page back to get CN IP then you will get update.

Updated the ZUI firmware to 14.0.640 using the VPN (connect to china then disconnect when download starts)

Netflix HD Problem - FIXED
YOUTUBE HDR Black - FIXED

Now the one more problem remains and its the Video Calls.

Still having flickering and hanging up problem when using video calls - and will sometimes reboot the device.

Messenger & skype all same.

Update: able to fix it by tinkering on the notification settings. DISABLING the Call Show Notification fixed the Video Call Problem on messenger.

Download and disconnect the vpn when the download starts.

Sorry to get a little out of focus. I have the Chinese version with Global Rom (...220921_ROW). Until then, everything works fine (google play and language in Portuguese), except OneDrive, which breaks all the time and is my main work platform. I believe it is some incompatibility with this fake Aliexpress rom. As this version doesn't support OTA update, I don't know what to do. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Due to China ROM, I do not have Productivity Mode but Study Mode. I had to learn to adopt to it.

But I'm actually feel that Productivity Mode is more useful.

My tab model is TB138FC and yours is TB138FU. As I researched, TB138FU is using MediaTek Kompanio 1300T where the TB138FC is using SD870.

I wanted to ask you about productivity mode (multiple windows, taskbar, etc.), don't the apps in the Google Play store simulate a productivity mode as good as the 2021 model?
Your answer is important to me, because I really need the productivity, and I am debating whether to buy the 2021 model or the 2022 model (which has a better display) because of this.

Now i entry to recovery and says it have the TB132FU_S000073_220816_ROW, but on system it says TB132FU_S300062_220921_ROW.
I tried to connect with VPN Chinese and try to update system, but still in loop searching for an update and didnt say nothing new, where can i check o know which one is the latest?

if you need this next week i can see the guido to do a backup if its still necessary, i want to have an official rom with OTA, or a root ROM to disable all the lenovo stuff and extra things.

That Global rom is a fake custom rom so you can't get any OTA, you can check the other thread but so far I don't think anyone have any success in going back to CN rom or flashing a real Global one yet

I have just received the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 mediatek 1300t from ali express which has been flashed with a global rom and I am in the UK and only speak english.

OTA updates do not work and more importantly for me the charging is broken in this version - I am connected to a 20w charger and it has taken circa 2 hours to charge 10%.

I have contacted the seller who has given me a link on Baidu to the chinese firmware but I am unable to download from Baidu.

Can anyone help me download from Baidu? Obviously happy to upload the file somewhere else for everyone if I can get it!

OK to I went to the ZUI14 rom which gives OTA updates which is excellent.

But it sounds like I can no longer use 5GHZ wifi in the UK as the china channels are different.

So now I'm not sure what do to.

I THINK I had TB132FU_USR_S000034_2206180119_MPR0_ROW installed when I received the tablet.

I have found a similar filename which I think may be a later version - TB132FU_USR_S000089_2210200620_MPR0_ROW - Has anyone tried this at all?
