I installed the ZUI rom on a "fake global" device and it worked just fine for me.

I followed the instructions on this forum.

i tried the chinese version quite a while ago and i prefer the global one,for its better compatability with google services and AOSP experience in general.
how can i get the latest global version,any suggestions?
i can't update since i have root,and im not even sure the update functionality works

Hi, since you don't have an lte or 5g version, how do you use the tablet when you're away from home? Do you share your mobile internet? I'm looking for an lte usb dongle but I don't know if I have to root the tablet for it to work? Can you help me?

i would suggest a way of sharing internet that you perhaps didn't consider before,bluetooth tethering,go to your phone and somewhere under tethering options enable bluetooth tethering,then on the tablet go to bluetooth settings where your phone is and enable internet access

I did throught lenovo rescue and smart assistant. It worked just perfect . I advice you to make a backup of your files because it will erase all your data. after update the tablet you can install your backup files.

Don't think it's related to the "fake" global version, because I got the global version and than flashed the Chinese ZUI rom and this matter behaved similarly in both.

Not sure it is going to be better in Android 13 and anyhow I wouldn't hold my breath for it. If you have the "fake global" version you'd probably need to get back to the Chinese ROM to get it, if it even ever comes.

I've read that global version bootloader can't be unlocked. But since you sucessfuly flashed the Chinese ZIUI version, does that mean your bootloader (in ZIUI14) was able to be unlocked in developer options? It's apparently greyed out in the global version.

Hi! Everyone, Is anydody know how to backup and modify the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022's efs or qcn sort of thing, like the P11(Snapdragon) tablet case based on the link? If there is a way to extract it and compare each other, then the Chinese model could be a perfect Global version, I assume. I would like to know your opinions.
