No , its working with me now
Could you share the solution found?
As I remembered, during my OOBE time, the tab just detected 2 time OTA update. This land me to the current FW ver. And I did not use VPN for the OTA too. Maybe it was due to I'm located in Asia? I could not answered that.

However many of us having various problem, but after done a factory reset, it seems to fix them. May be you want to try that?
I managed to solve it with the vpn from the link above! Were you able to get Google backup working?

I've got this model yesterday and I have been trying to find a global rom, the hardware is exactly the same as for the

Lenovo Tab P12 Pro Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.6(*, **)

which has a global rom, so probably it works for the P11 too.

Another confusing thing mentioned here is the support for the pen, last year's model which is also called the Tab P11 Pro works with the version 2 of the pen so be careful when ordering as it's easy to make that mistake. This model is supposed to work with version 3 (I don't know if you can still use version 2 tho)

* Except for the back cameras as far as I have been able to check.
** The link provided is for a store that sells the Xiaoxin Tab P12 Pro with a global rom as proof nothing else is intended.

Wow, this is a good update, have you tried to install this rom on Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2022 TB138FC (SD870)?

No I haven't, I was a little annoyed because the seller I bought the tablet from modified the tablet (to install google store and remove some of the Chinese apps) and didn't tell me so I made a factory reset and suddenly everything was in Chinese. So far I have managed to remove all of it so I'm not that interested anymore.

After a couple of days of using the device I'm adding some more information that could be useful to other people wanting to buy this model.
Geekbench 5:
Geekbench5-Lenovo.jpg

This is an annoying problem I found which is that the screen is tinted on the edge.
TintedScreenGreen.jpg

This only happens when in total darkness the brightness is low, the hue is green , and also very low. This is common to happen when you see a movie at night and the screen gets black but it's not a real black. The color I see is grey and the band it's not so thick it depends on the hue value and the current brightness I use (This is how my phone took the image). It looks like the screen bleeding but it's not and apparently it's not a defect. This issue will also vary between units so maybe your screen doesn't have it or have it worse

The tinting also differs between 60Hz and 120Hz. Green tint on 120Hz 25% brightness.

Can confirm it is also different for me at 60hz and 120hz, in my case 60hz works better for low hues and low brightness.

Our OLED screen had this problem. But normally only appeared when in low light situation. My set having red patches. Do turn OFF the DC Backlight in ZUI Lab, which that could cause more obvious discoloration.

I'll try that another thing I have tried that works well too is to turn the screen to 60Hz instead 120Hz before watching a video. Let's hope lenovo implements automatic detection for media consumption in a firmware upgrade like other brands do

Hi all,
I am currently wondering which pad to choose between TB-J716F and TB138FC. Does the TB138FC, as its little sister, support widevine L1 for full HD Netflix streaming ?

New Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 (SD870) user here.

Has anyone been able to turn off the keyboard click sound? Don't seem to see the option in settings.

Productivity mode removed is really a letdown as it looked so promising!

It did work with the following steps:
  1. Install Google Playstore apk (from APKMirror and look for ARM64-v8a architecture)
  2. Install Google Play Services apk (from APKMirror and look for ARM64-v8a architecture)
  3. Install Google Services Framework 12 apk (from APKMirror and look for ARM64-v8a architecture)
  4. Turn on the Google Basic Services:
Settings -> Apps management -> 3 dots on the top right -> Google Basic Services

Voila! it work like a charm.
Did you manage to make a google account, or did you manage to make a global rom?

This is a SD870 SOC device, I believe the resources for this SOC on a Custom ROM support is plenty. I do hope there will be developer interested on this table and build something interesting for us. Let's hope for the best.

Furthermore, this table is relatively new in the market. For a custom ROM, we might really need to be patient for one. But who knows there is already one in the development state? Just be hopeful.
Maybe we can try the ROM of this model Lenovo Tab P12 Pro Xiaoxin (TB-Q706F)?
