my old hisense had a button which would show the Resolution and Refresh rate the TV is currently using. does the TCL C825 have that somewhere? or an app i can install that will do it? thank you!

My remote (RC802N5) has an i/info button that shows resolution/refresh when using HDMI inputs (+ Netflix but not other apps I've tried) but the remotes differ by model/region so don't know if you'll have that. Also works on my universal remote.

I tried it and it works. but i had to search for works with alexa and i managed to get tv alexa or something like that.
but google assistance works. the voice sounds creepy though

I mean u can use voice command without remote?! Juat talk to your tv,..??

I've tried copying the V8-R51MT05-LF1V508 OTA update to my FAT32 formatted stick. Using Local update. Says no update available.

Yeah. Gives me the usual options whether I want to open a Video - picture - music file etc.

Still in its original .zip file. However, I am using a MacBook to do this. But, USB stick is still formatted to FAT32

I've just got it to work as I was reading your last message. Just realised I had -2 at the end of the file name. I downloaded it twice by accident hence the -2 at the end of the file name. Removed, checked for update. Now works.

My TV is a TCL 55C825. It was the best decision to make an upgrade from ATV 11 to GTV Version 474.

The system works smoother and faster. On ATV my TV stutterted for example while watching waiputv and using the option menu. Some channels werent played fluid. Now everything is playing optimal.

I have problems with the audio of my TCL C725 and V325 ATV and it is that in some applications my PS5 does not hear the front audio channels, the apps that work badly are HBO and Disney plus. Instead Netflix and Amazon video are heard perfectly. Thanks.

quick question. does your works with alexa work? i have a 50p725 and when i updated to that version it was the only thing that didn't work. it didn't show up in systems. if you did how did you do it?

Hi,

My TV is connected to the WiFi network.
I use the static IP parameter
I change the DNS Google by those of Quad9 (9.9.9.11 and 149.112.112.11)
It seems that there is a problem with the safeguarding of new DNS.
I do not have the impression that the DNS values are saved.
I open a shell console to search for the resolv.conf file and make a log in the direction of a USB stick to analyze it on my PC.
I find six files in the log

/data/vendor/etc/resolv.conf
 /system/etc/resolv.conf
 /mnt/vendor/tmp/resolv.conf
 /mnt/vendor/linux_rootfs/etc/ppp/resolv.conf
 /mnt/vendor/linux_rootfs/etc/resolv.conf

I look at the contents of the files
