I have a Tcl 55C725 TV here in Spain with the software that comes on the web V256, is there any better than this? The TV image lacks as fluidity. Thanks

On Netflix and Amazon Prime the image of the movement of people and images is not as fluid as other TVs I have seen. Could it be from the software?

¡HI! I bought a TCL C725 back in october and Im having some issues since then. The TV is so slow when working with some stream apps (especially HBO Max). In fact sometimes it doesnt work at all and I end up streaming the content from my smartphone. What could be the reason? Firstly I thought the cause was my ****ty internet connection, but recently I've upgraded it to optical fiber and nothing changed. I also tried installing again some apps but that did not work either. Now im thinking maybe I got a defective TV, what do you guys think?

I also tried to update my firmware, like @stasiof told me, but TV says I already have the latest version.

So how you try to update ?
Give more details, which firmware and way to update.
You should read posts here, to know better what's is going on, how to update,etc....

Edit:
Go to setting...About ..you will found your firmware installed version.

Easy for you, is to look for V277 firmware here in this thread , download and copy zip file to USB.
Insert USB in TV, be sure TV recognise your USB.
Then go to Software update in setting and chose local update.
Do not touch anything ,till TV reboot in Home screen.
Voila done, you have latest firmware.

Is there a certain order you have to apply the updates? My C825 is now V082. Can I just apply the new V414 OTA straight or do I have to move up to it with previous firmwares? Like first V407 and then V414? Thanks for the help!

I followed TCL website instructions and my TV says that I already have the latest version of firmware. My model is 50" and im from Spain if that helps. Now im gonna try installing V277 manually. Thanks!

Your firmware is V8-T615T01-LF1V082.
T01 is Android 11
Firmware you want to install is V8-T615T03-LF1V414 OTA file.
T03 is Google TV
So, to change T01 to T03 need IMG file V407 (also T03), to flash first, then update with OTA V414.

Since V082.......

V8-T615T03-LF1V407 IMG... Oct 23 2021 (Google TV)
V8-T615T01-LF1V083 OTA... Oct 27 2021

I have a 75-S546 that is getting black screens whenever I play Dolby Vision content (from Amazon Prime, plex, etc). This happens only from my external device (Shield Pro 2019.) Already tried multiple certified cables.

Everything else is working

Firmware version: V8-R51MT05-LF1V254

Does anyone know if installing a different version will fix this issue? Or are there known issues with this?

I just got the TV put in yesterday. This is the only firmware I've tried and I think it is the latest from what I gather on these posts. Although it is a little confusing since the version numbers go out of order
So,what has been previous version installed ?
This what I asking.
Or your TV came with factory firmware V254 ?

Oh I see. When I started up the tv it updated it's firmware automatically during the setup process. I am not sure what it had installed when I took it out of the box. It's only ever had V8-R51MT05-LF1V254 since I went through the initial setup

OK, now is much more clear.
Regarding your issue,no other option then waiting for new firmware, by Auto update.
