Hi everyone. A few days ago I purchased a 50P735 and I have the following issue.
When I turn off the TV sometimes the stand by led switches off and then there is no way to turn the TV on again from the remote or TV's physical button. I always have to unplug it in order to turn on. I have switched off any energy savings and and I have enabled fast turn on. I have already made a factory reset but nothing changed. Is is a faulty TV or is there anything else I can do.

Have been updated to V477 automatically when first switched on.

Guys i need some help. Just purchased an tcl 75 c728k tv. Learned that k stands for uk version... Which is wierd because im from slovenia...
Ok so no 2.1hdmi... The thing i dont understand is that im running android 9 and when i try to update it just say: no update availible. Is it even possible to update to android 11 or google tv? Also i have no inteligent settings, and my settings menu its diffrent from what i watched in rewievs. This is really frustrating. Any info on how to fix this?

Update
I've recently manually updated to the IMG V501 on my TCL 50P725A tv. So far no real issues. In fact, I now have the intellegent picture feature and the game picture mode now has motion settings. I guess I need to explore somemore to see what else is new
Just two things. First went I got inside some secret settings or whatever it's called, I noticed that preset is on DTV and not HDMI and I'm using this as a gaming monitor. SHould I change the preset? Second, I noticed that the game master feature inside system settings only works when you have an xbox or other controller attached and I'm using it as a gaming monitor as it's attached to my gaming pc. Is this accurate?
Any assistance would be great. Thanks for your time

It would appear TCL have forgotten about the C728k. No ATV updates for ages and no sign of a GTV build. Not awesome.

I bought the 728k because I did not want GTV. Otherwise I would've gotten something else.

Im on v143. So you have k version and you updated to android 11? And it works?

No, I'm on the same version as you (gone from 141 to 143).
From what I gathered if you go above 143 you end up with firmware not intended for this TV model and you're also in the realms of Android 11.

I don't know enough of this subject to make an educated call, however coming from mobile phones if you install an Android version that's higher than the optimised build then yes you end up with new features but there will be some that'll stop working or become bugged.
To be honest I don't think you gain anything worthwhile by going from Android 9 to 11 but that's just my opinion.

Maybe someone who actually tried this could help us?

I think for GTV can flash V496 IMG file....

In post #1 is usefull threat ...how to flash.
Take notice that all data and apps will be deleted, however pic and sound should remain.
Flashing back to ATV, need any R51T02 IMG file.

Do you have any information about the version update r166? is there an upgrade version of this version? v166 has a feature where it doesn't kill background processes and I really need that

Is it the same as the Telegram one? If it's true I've tried it, this version turns off my vpn automatically, and my vpn can only run on r166. But the r166 has a bug on my tv where the voice assistant sound is very low, i have to turn up the volume above 50 to hear it

I tried r181, It turned out to be the same, the VPN immediately died after exiting the app. If you know this why please help, I'm very frustrated because I already paid for a subscription for 2 vpn. Sad
