I have TCL 55 inch curved tv with firmware V8-S68AT02-LF1V074 . But I am unable to connect tv with Playstore or Youtube. Everytime I put any ID password in Playstore it give ID password error. Youtube give activation code which is reject when I try to do it through phone. I am unable to update any app as all apps are 2019 or old. Whenever I try to update TCL software it gives notification that no need to update. Please help me out as I have very little or no knowledge. Will issue settle if I overwrite this software version with any other suitable version?

Update: I tried to update with V8-S68AT02-LF1V182 , its firmware is updated but issues are same. Can you please suggest me updated android version please?

No such model exist for 2021, even for 2020 or 2019.

Is not matter when you bought, but is old model....sure not 2021 TV models.....

Thanks again. But I hope there is some software ro technical glitch otherwise companies make tv whose supportability is good enough for atleast 4-5 years. Can you please suggest is there any remedial way to connect TV with google services? Or can you please suggest a relevant thread where I can raise my query?

Hi my 75C721 (aka 75C725) suddendly restarts/reboots istelf out of the blue. For example you're watching netflix for an hour or 30 mins and suddendly the images got freeze and than the tv reboots going to tcl logo and land to google tv home page. I don't know what to do... I did nothing lately such as install apps or something, there's a way to update or renistall the firmware? which could be the cause of these restarts? thanks i post some screens taken from settings menu.

Is factory firmware ?

I tried updating from the internal /sdcard - it finds the file, verifies ok, then claims the media was removed after rebooting to update! This is weird - can it only work from the external storage then?

Update: a USB drive worked fine - it looks like only the lower USB port is operational? V258 is installed now, and seems to work fine, no issues observed after short operations.

I was also able to attach a regular mouse to the lower USB port - and could run a SpeedTest, otherwise it was impossible to click the choices without a mouse. i am getting 86 MB/s download over ethernet, and 200 MB/s over WiFi (AC router).
