TCL 2022 Google TVs (P635/P735/C635/C735/C835/C935)

I confirm the same problems + more on 55C735. Random restarts or black screen while watching TV (cable) or playing on PS5. A PC is also connected. The screen tearing is visible at upper part of the screen. If you change modes from Nvidia control panel the tearing just gets to the lower part of screen. Default is RGB Full 8bit. Complete reset of the TV resulted in nothing. Firmware is V474. I was thinking to try with a downgrade, but to which stable version, maybe 473 ? Please advise! If no solution is found until Monday I should put a warranty claim, but it will be difficult to show the problems with the restarts and black screens, because they can happen randomly, twice in an hour or once in two hours..

i just found how to fix the tearing thing with pc mode, just change the boost mode from eco/balanced to Fast in the game bar and now the line is at like 1centimeter from the top and is almost not noticeable at all for me on the 65c735 , i'm so glad that this problem is fixed it was the worst one

I update my 43C735 , after that my screen was strangely darkened no matter what of source/gamma/contrast/mode settings.
Helped unplugging the power, after this reset the image returned to normal.

I GChmurka. I have a 43C635.
After OTA update the screen is dark

Many other user are reporting same PROBLEM in our Italian forum.
Someone has manage such a setup to mitigate the problem:

DO you mean that just unpluging from the socket wall, the TV reset to normal condition ?

Ouu... okay, thanks, but as I read in our polish groups and here. People says dolby vision still problem, dolby atmos don't know, but now the next problem is dark screen - maybe this is the user knowledge problem - don't know, but Im give up at least for now with next OTA. As I see - next updates = more problems.. typical Android updates (maybe clean install will be helpful in this case with IMG V508 not OTA or OTA but shop reset and factory reset, but I will waiting).. meh..

well i had downgraded to 440 too but it did not helped me until i select fast boost mode, i'm still on 440 because i was lazy to reflash the update and try if it work on 474 too. i have some random signal loss but it's very rare and i have ordered a better cable so i will try with it

Yes, is depend of Project ID, region and country.
Last week started form Italy and now France also.
Also not every region will have, as Europe region has been on V477 and other regions on V496.

Yes, in my case, it helped to disconnect the power from the TV for a few seconds. After turning it on it's ok. I checked the signal from DolbyVision, 2k, FullHD and it's good.

You can just update to v508 using USB stick, if you wish. V501 is only available as IMG, not OTA, so TV won't update to v501 automatically for anyone. My 55C635 self-updated only to v477 and for newer versions I had to update manually using USB stick...
Personally I didn't notice any differences between v496 and v508 so far...
