I did, but it doesn't let me update to V511, since I already have V562. So I'm guessing switching back to firmware made native for C735 won't be possible.

Hi everyone, I need help guys, I have a 65C835 bought around 4 months ago, connected to a Yamaha AVR through EARC, everything was going great and I updated to the latest V562 and it worked without any issue for two weeks, yesterday ARC stopped working and I could change between the inputs on the AVR and the TV to get the sound back but HDMI control is missing and I no longer can control the volume through the TV remote, I tried downgrading to V503 and V462, and I tried V511 and nothing could fix the HDMI control thing, I tried 3 different HDMI 2.1 cables all with the same result. Anyone had a similar issue?
Good morning. It could be something localized, something simple like you haven't realized yet. Maybe turn CEC off/on on both devices and/or reset the TV, your receiver, etc. I mean, because I have exactly a TCL C835 and a Yamaha RX V681 and here everything is still working very well, even after updating to FW v562. I still have an Nvidia Shield connected to the TV and the three devices communicate normally. I can use any of the remotes to control volume, power on/off all.
Thank you for the reply, in Fact I managed to fix my issue by an HDMI refresh by which turning off all my devices and remove them from power, remove all HDMI cables and wait for 15 minutes, then plugged in the HDMI cables back in and then connected the power cables and turned things on. This fixed my issue.
Why the T615T03 V511 IMG was removed from Telegram and servers for download ?! Are there any problems with it, i was just going to install it on C735 ?
I used the v511 image and did the turn off / clean install thing like in instructions, but the tv says: System damaged, please update system.

Whenever I zapping the channels, EPG shows no information. Although, there is no problem with the signal and quality of the channels.

Hi I have a PS5 and 55C835 and HDMI cable 2.1 with 4K 122 Hz support . I reinstalled the firmware from EU version 474 to 652 ( V8-T615T03-LF1V652.000747 up to date ) everything is fine but I still can't turn on VRR on PS5 . I tried the cable to both HDMI port 1 ( 144 Hz ) and port 2 ( 122 Hz ) . In the PS5 settings it tells me on trying to turn it on that my TV does not support VRR . In the TV settings again it does not turn on . Settings > system > game master ( Game master and auto latency mode on ) > VRR off ( when I click on it , it does not respond , just graphically makes it look like I pressed it but it does not change from off to on and does not expand any menu options ) . I try this setting with PS5 on and even games that should support it . In the TV settings > channels and inputs > inputs > CEC control HDMI control is enabled . When I hold down the button on the remote to bring up the Game bar , the top shows that everything is on ( FPS: 60 ) HDR and ALLM except VRR , it is forced . I have searched this forum and others here and tried things recommended somewhere , but nothing has worked . If anyone knows anything please , I would be glad . Thank you
I think you mean V8-T615T03-LF1V562.000747. Maybe the problem is that you are using firmware for 2023 models. Try with V503. I have 55C735 connected to PS5 and VRR worked for me with that version.

hello, I have C835 55" updated to V562 and HDR modes are not working (IMAX preset not visible in list of video modes). Did anyone tried to revert back to V511? Are HDR modes back with V511? How is the TV app layout? It is using new design from V562 or is the same old? Can we maybe expect with V562 successor HDR fix for 2022 models (C835)?

There's no imax enhanced even on a new c845 with firmware 562. Hopefully Chinese little hands will fix it at some update...
Where is it possible to found new firmware for the V8-T615T03 platform?
In the Telegram bot, seems that are present only old test version...now on the 13 if I remember correctly.

3@spl_decibel ok, you have R51MT05, so the latest version is v573. It is probably not officially made for P635 as it is primarily intended for 2023 models, but it should work fine (at least it works fine on C635).1
Assuming you're using the latest v562/v582 firmware - hold OK button until info screen appears, there's heart icon to mark favorites.
No, v511 is hot garbage - much worse UI, absolutely terrible eARC/CEC and it's not faster or anything. Image quality doesn't seem to change either11@Sagi.f So you can try upgrading firmware to a different version. I have TCL soundbar connected via HDMI eARC and I also sometimes have issues with it. Recently I was using V523 which was quite OK, after that some later version broke it so I returned to V523 and currently I am testing the latest V573 - it seems it sometimes disconnects+reconnects the soundbar sometimes when nothing was playing, but it was OK when I was watching a movie.
Sometimes it also helps when you power off the TV and the soundbar (or receiver), unplug the cables, and then connect it again.
Try also powering off and on your receiver when TV is on.

Everybody is different and everybody has different things they enjoy doing, so I'd say yes there is people that care about it despite the fact that you may not.4I have 50c735 europe_pl (bought and use here) first set up update firmware to v477, but that's it, no more updates to do, it says - nothing to update. I know that there are few next updates so I decided to do update by myself, but to be sure and safe, just for know I just update with v496 OTA, of course reset shop, reset all and after that full factory reset and configuration of all Google TV once again with all apps etc.. Hmm.. I don't know if this update give something new, may be some functions or naming of it, may be little smooth feeling, but rather little not many. Hmm, but what I noticed, after update the screen is more more red.. and maybe pink moreover in some movies/ apps so I have to change white balance in expert mode 2 points and red boost set to -16 and blue -2, now is very good, but.. hmm someone also noticed it?? Some said here that the Dolby Vision is repaired now, but don't know what, maybe is more smooth, maybe - ok, but still the problem about @OnyOnaki said above actually exist. I can't say that is brightness lag, its like a delay in led backlight software saying about reaction. Hmm Im good with that to be honest, it doesn't annoying me, but some in my family said that is really not cool. Hm.. in my opinion this is a dynamic hdr so..., but yeahh.. it could be faster... To avoid big jumps of brightness I set bright preset and gamma -1, everythings OFF and dynamic mapping on OFF [but to be honest this option is really good to have ON, because of details that he helps you to see in very white scene, but.. also makes more work to brightness regulators]...
I think about v501 flash via IMG and make completly fresh instalation, but.. don't know if it make sense. I think the main problem is CPU and everything we say its about him. TCL make not good move with making money on us who don't need big-bigg screens and they implement ****ty realtek CPU inner <50 inchs. Really sad, because these TV to be honest isn't the cheapest we can buy, but maybe some updates helps us.
Maybe someone has calibration settings for these C735 SERIES to 50 inches etc.. screens, I mean of course calibrated with sensor, not on eye, because on eye I also did that, I've got good eye hehe, but if someone has settings made by pro, it will be be nice to share with us.
Someone test v501 on c735? I saw there isn't at v501 OTA so.. I don't know if it is safe.. and if it is worth to update.
EDIT: UPDATE ABOUT FOR ALL OF US WHO HAVE DOLBY VISION BRIGHTNESS PROBLEM, THERE IS A WORKAROUND SOLUTION AND SOMETHING LIKE A GOOD NEWS.
I found these instruction here on xda in other thread with beyond TVs:
1. Activate Quick Start (EVEN if you have this option ON, just do TURN OFF AND TURN ON THIS OPTION once AGAIN)
2. Turn off (hold power button on remote control 5 seconds and say YES/ OK to turn off question and unplug the TV and of course after 10-15 sec, plug in powercord to TV again)
3. Turn on the TV
4. Let it load all the GTV UI
5. Turn off the TV with the remote control button (but not completly, just one short click - to quick start standby mode)
6. Turn the TV back ON with the button on the remote
7. Put the movie or series with Dolby Vision
8. Enjoy, finally, the movie or series without brightness changes in the scenes
And if you always use stand-by quick start turn off turn on method od remote control, these will be work. If you unplug TV or you lost power on TV powercord you will need to do that ALWAYS ONCE AGAIN AND AGAIN [DON'T SKIP ANY STEP, JUST DO THAT ALWAYS THE SAME WAY]. Don't test it how it will be working after few days and making a mess with apps etc.
And these is that good news - its only firmware problem, not a hardware, but the question is if the TCL knows about that and has a will to repair that in next updates. Some say here that the V501 repair that. Don't know, im on v496 now after manual OTA update with V477 stock firmware, but on these two version, it was the same problem. Maybe I will try to V501 IMG full firmware flash with reset all and reset shop before, and factory reset after flash this IMG and I will also report if that helps or not, but to be honest I think TCL don't know how to repair that. I know one TV from my country which is on the market warranty Service and 7 days after still we don't know what will be done in this case. I also forward these news and instruction how to workaround these problem and maybe service will contact with TCL SUPPORT and MAYBE THEY forward this information on the next steps, but to be honest in these budget - the only we can do now is to have hope that they will still work on these platform, it's 2022y model so maybe...
