Does anyone know if the problem of raised blacks/local dimming zones not turned off will be solved ? I'm on the latest software version V562 and it leaves much to be desired. On full screen 16:9 content it works fine, but for any cinemascope or 4:3 content the black bars are noticeably on, when the TV is capable of very deep blacks if you were to turn them off.
This makes it very unusable for movie appreciation, to the level of deserving a return.

This is what it came with, with no further updates. 43 to 75 uk models comes with android 85 inch of this same model comes with google tv weird how they did it.

Just playing around with it with google tv but Freeview play with it's catch up apps don't work/install but apart from that works very well! But without catch up apps it's back to android.

Yea, TCL doing a mess with UK "K" versions, since 2 years ago....

Oh dammm well that doesn't look to be changing anytime soon I came from panasonic but ditched them with there android tv buggy mess well that's great to know i will likely keep google tv on it. Minor issue of freeview play can be temp resolved by chromecast so it isn't a big deal.

Is there anything to watch out from apart from keeping it within "V8-R51MT02/5" ??

Hello, recently I bought 55c645. Overall I am delighted with this TV image quality and paid only 370 EU.

But I have two problems.
1. Having Dolby vision issues on Netflix. The transition from dark to light images is some kind of flickering ( If I could turn of Dolby vision in Netflix I would turn it off, but Netflix doesn't have that option).
2. When watching TV series or Movies from USB flash. There is some kind of buffering lag (don't know how to exactly express it), that lasts for a split of second and repeats itself every few minutes.

Can someone recommend how to fix those issues? If it is a software problem, TV box would fix it?
