Hi,

After try some firmwares and configurations, dolby atmos its not full implemented in my c715 with v718 firmware and a tcl 8132 soundbar.

Netflix> dolby atmos ok
Hbo> dolby atmos ok
Intern aplication > dolby atmos ok

Disney> Impossible
Kodi> impossible
Vlc> impossible

Any idea how to fix dolby atmos for all apps?

I have no soundbar, but my C715 has Atmos (in Netflix) only with V674 and V677.

In the past you said you also had atmos with 701 if you updated via ota to it. Is this still the case or does it stop working afterall? Any downsides to using 677? I would really like to use atmos again.

Yes, but in V701 working only 2-3 days.

Works now with TV only or with an Fire TV Stick + Soundbar, TV and Soundbar only, no chance.

I have a problem with my tcl 43P610, my son did something in service menu and my screen is black now. Tv is only responding on power button or secret codes. So I have found that a combination of codes 062598 + menu + XXX can change selection of projectID or something like that,right?
Does anyone know what is the projectid for this model?
Or how can i fix this?

This might be a long shot to get an answer. I have the TCL model V8 R851T02-LF1V606.017688. Currently on Android 9 but I would like to upgrade it to a newer firmware.
Which one these that are currently in this thread is compatible? I can't figure it out and I don't want to brick my tv
If anyone can point me to the right direction along with a guide? Thank you

UPDATE: I managed to find a V715 in the thread and updated the TV. I will test it in the next few days to see if there are any issue of compatibility.

Kodi works with Atmos for me.

I made sure pass through was enabled in the system settings and set my speaker config in kodi to 2.1

V718 on a C815
Curiously, Disney is not giving me an Atmos stream.

The C815 has an inbuilt Onkyo soundbar

Thanks @Cinam , so the problem it's me or maybe in my soundbar....
At this moment Disney it's not compatilble with Atmos, sometime in the pas was but not now.

When you say that works ,it that you see a Icon of Atmos on the screen or in the sound bar?

Atmos shows on the screen for the test video I played.
Dolby vision/hdr10+ the same (not that we are talking about video).

Thanks for all.... strange error ,maybe the problem its on the soundbar ,but also its a Tcl with a Tcl Tv...

Curiously, Plex with AAC 5.1 streams have an incorrect speaker assignment (eg talking comes out the right speaker instead of center).

I got around it by using Plex for Kodi (if anyone is interested or has the same issue)
