Hello. I am a TCL 65C815 user and for several days I have had a black screen ... shining a flashlight on the screen I can see the entire menu and I can hear the sound. The firmware is V8 R851T02-LF1V606.017688. Maybe someone knows what is the cause of this situation?

It sounds like your backlight has gone, do you have a warranty?

Unfortunately, it is after the warranty period ... I uploaded the v650 software but it is still the same. I wonder if there is an option to fix this backlight

Sigh... I am getting quite annoyed with our Thomson TV (43UC6326) which runs on the latest available firmware version (I think it was LF1V466) in regards with Netflix.

Every time I turn on the TV and want to watch Netflix, it will give errors. So I cannot watch Netflix. The only "solution" is to clear all login details in Netflix and then re-enter all login details. Then Netflix will work fine and without issues, until I turn off the TV. Then I have to redo all steps again.

This is becoming a real pain in the ...! Is nobody else experiencing this issue with Netflix? Or am I really the only one? It's very weird. It happened some time ago and at first I thought okay. However I am watching more Netflix at the moment instead of watching something from my NAS...

I have no way to update Netflix (or other apps) on the TV. It's an older model obviously. I could use my Chromecast, but than I have to use a tablet or phone in my bedroom to cast Netflix to there. That's something I really not want to do.

Maybe someone has an idea? So far the only "solution" to get Netflix working again, is to delete all login information and re-enter them when turning on the TV. It's a lot of work to do that every day...

Please run this code at your own responsability and carefuly check each line!!!! It will remove some features that you might use (like miracast) and you will need to flash an IMG to restore full functionality again. Works with both ATV9 and ATV11
This will remove a ton of useless apps and all TCL bloatware. The last 4 lines remove the google assistant.
This will reduce the RAM usage and the TV will not rely on ZRAM that much, improving a little bit the performance of the crap CPU that TCL chose for this tv.

I'm on V662 & struggled with the remote to bring up the numpad but no luck on any of the menu options ..
so finally moved my wifi keyboard dongle from my shield to tv an was very interested once the option appeared ,,,

its a miracle .....

to my surprise ...

Download the TCL magic connect app. It has an inbuilt remote control. If your tv & phone are on the same network, u cn use it to dial in the numbers above till you get the "by customer service" option.

Thanks! I don't have a problem with entering the numbers through the remote but the unit claims I'm already on the latest firmware...
