Just perform a normal local OTA update. Insert an USB stick with the OTA zip file and enter About/Program update/Local update. It will check the update and reboot for upgrade. Swap usb stick if in any problems.

please write the exact procedure for the update, I'm trying v718--?v722 and the usb doesn't work-- OTA writes that the file on the usb was not found and I have extracted to the v722 folder and after wifi it says I have the latest software
Did you swap USB memory? Seems to be a common problem.

Don't unzip the file. It needs to stay untouched on the USB memory stick.

You install the updates by using a prepared USB flash drive like explained below and long pressing the physical power button until it blinks.

Make sure that the flash drive is empty and formatted in FAT32!
IMG update: unzip the file so that you have a update.img on the root of the flash drive
OTA update: copy the zip file to the root of the flash drive. no need to rename or extract!

Anyone had a chance to try the new firmware yet?

I'm hoping to try in the next few days.
Seems to got back the Google Play Protect certification that got lost in the previous upgrade.

Does anyone know if an IMG file is/will become available for this new V727?
Haven’t seen one, but if you really want to do it that way you could use the v722 img, then immediately flash the v727 OTA

It's an issue with the TV after I ran a de-bloat script which is preventing any OTA update, which didn't bother me until trying to update to 727. Happy to wait for an IMG file to become available 👍🏻
Are you talking about OTA network auto update or OTA zip file manual update ?
    Again,
same as IMG file, you can use OTA zip file for manual update.

There are the 3 methods for OTA update

    Btw,
Reflash TV again with V722 IMG (or do factory reset) and all your "debloat mistakes" will be gone.

    Another Argentinian here.
As I got tired of waiting for the OTA to appear, with my adb logcat running, and it never did ...
I thought: "why don't I edit the ota v213 url to see if it works?", and it did. :p

I have a 75c815k (uk) and have just updated to V715 android 11 software, I was previously on V645 the current official TCL European software and had spent many many hours tweaking the settings to get what I consider the best picture quality to suit my taste and eye. My son has an LG 77" c1 oled which cost him roughly 4 times more than my TCL and whilst my picture is not quite up to his with my settings I think it comes very close and thought I would share them if anyone wants to try them. I like quite a vibrant picture so have used the standard mode with the following settings for SDR ( in movie mode the same settings give a slightly softer look)
    Brightness/backlight 45,
    Contrast 90,
    Black level 40,
Dynamic contrast off, black stretch off, brightness+ on, local dimming low, gamma 0
Colour 48, tint 50, dynamic colour on, colour temp -1
Sharpness 50, digital noise and noise reduction off
Gradation clear (not on V645) low
Motion clarity on, led motion clear off, judder reduction off
Expert calibration settings untouched apart from colour space set to auto.

My Hdr settings are similar although brightness and contrast left at 100 and colour pulled back to around 46
    Dolby Vision left alone.

These settings were originally set on V645 but seem ok with V715

As with most things picture quality is subjective but these settings I believe would give a much better baseline to the out of box settings which are way overblown in my opinion.
