Which firmware you have installed now in TV ?
For R51MT01 platform, I have latest v098 IMG, but still ATV 9.
However, you can also use X925 GTV firmwares (R51MT06), by flashing T06 IMG file...
still work on v092.how can i get v098 IMG?
X925 GTV firmwares (R51MT06) is work on X915 which has different cpu?
X925 is same CPU (RTD2851M)....as is same platform.....R51MT0x.
Just flash R51MT06 IMG file and try.
Then update with latest V149 OTA.
You can any time flash back to native version with IMG file (posted bellow).....

Dont what is the famous bug, but I could not turn off TV with hdmi CEC. Now, it works with v722.
Hello, I am French, I am 44 years old and I have a TCL television: the 65X10 model, since 2019 and the television has never offered to update the firmware, EVER!!!! in 4 years, I found this morning on 4 official TCL sites (sweden, spain, england and germany) a firmware (V8-R851T02-LF1V645) that I downloaded and installed. My tv recognized it, checked it and installed it in 5 minutes but when finished, the tv works but the image is divided into 3, everything works, the sound, the settings but the image is little divided and it makes the tv usable in this condition! I tried to downgrade (I easily found on your forum the manipulation to do with the ignition button to be pressed for 10 sec) but I cannot find and download any firmware on the official sites (I have I am looking for the 252) but if you know how to help me? how is it that the tcl france site has never offered me a more recent firmware, the tv has never found any either in the network with the firmware search system dedicated to android. Do you know what is the best firmware for my model? The TV needs a .zip file to install it, not an .iso or .img file. (I found these types of files on the Brazilian forum and it doesn't work with my TV...) If someone can help me, I will be very, very happy. Try factory reset first.
In this thread you have every firmware for your TV.
Also I suggest to flash IMG file, so anything old will be cleaned.
Hello, thank you for answering me, I did not specify it but I tried a factory reset but nothing different happened.
I didn't find the good file for flashing back to an old and good firmware, it was not the same type of files, you can see that on my attachments. the file LF1V645 is the firmware that corrupted my tv, it's an zip file and the firmwares i found on this thread are disk image.

V722 is OTA not IMG.. so you can try local update and then a factory reset if required

j'ai rejoint le service consommateurs France TCL et nous avons créé un dossier pour mon cas, avec explications, photos du problème, numéro de firmware etc... maintenant, j'attends la réponse de leurs spécialistes.
EDIT : j'installe le v722 et le téléviseur l'accepte et le met à jour mais c'est pareil, l'écran/image est divisé en 3 parties, pareil avec le v645. toutes les autres fonctions semblent fonctionner... J'ai besoin d'une ancienne version compatible. J'ai essayé plusieurs fois (au moins 10 fois je pense) de télécharger la v252 (version stock semble-t-il) mais le téléchargement s'est arrêté/erré ou j'ai perdu le lien ( https://drive . google.com/drive/folders/1K5MiRPwuZ1zCZXeu31UBSAKfGQT5AqZa )

You need to unzip V302 and "Update.img" copy to USB FAT32.
You already spoiled your TV with zip file, so need ( as I posted above) to flash IMG file.
Procedure is different then with OTA file.....
Edit:
once your TV is runniong V6xx (or above) firmware, downgrading to V2xx is not recommended. Can brick TV.

the official protocol for european tv ask to instal a .zip on the usb key, you can see it on this file (encircled in red) they say " do not unzip the software file"

3Hello all, new here. I have a 2019 43" P8M connected to a Samsung Q600A soundbar(new). Firmware version was V634 if I remember correctly (much has passed in the last 2-3 days).
Digital audio out was set on Auto but had bad lip synch issues. Could not hear anything when setting to Passthrough or PCM. So I decided to take the plunge and update and, of course, messed that up.
Tried to do the OTA update to V727 at first but install got hung at about 30% so pulled the plug on the tv, removed the USB and deleted contents. Then downloaded the IMG file of V713(?) And successfully installed that. THEN installed the V727 OTA, successfully this time! YAY!
I then tested the set. App audio was good! I was also now finding and seeing/hearing Dolby Atmos on Netflix which I wasn't finding before. BUT, all channel audio was very, very, very quiet no matter what I set Digital Audio on, even the Auto option which worked before.
I then re-read this thread and noticed I hadn't done either of the recommended resets. I then found and performed a Reset Store (didn't find the Reset All at first), then a Reset All and then another Reset Store. Restarted the TV and voila, I had my audio back! And better yet, my lip synch issues are now minimized!
Everything is working and I have found a couple of settings I didn't have before. Even saw a 'Works with Alexa' setting for a while but said not installed when I tried to enable it. It is gone now.
Applied the picture settings posted a while back with some tweaking on my part and am enjoying the set much more now with fewer frustrations. -

Seems to got back the Google Play Protect certification that got lost in the previous upgrade. -

As I got tired of waiting for the OTA to appear, with my adb logcat running, and it never did ...
I thought: "why don't I edit the ota v213 url to see if it works?", and it did.
V8-R851T02-LF1V321.014450.zip10I have a 75c815k (uk) and have just updated to V715 android 11 software, I was previously on V645 the current official TCL European software and had spent many many hours tweaking the settings to get what I consider the best picture quality to suit my taste and eye. My son has an LG 77" c1 oled which cost him roughly 4 times more than my TCL and whilst my picture is not quite up to his with my settings I think it comes very close and thought I would share them if anyone wants to try them. I like quite a vibrant picture so have used the standard mode with the following settings for SDR ( in movie mode the same settings give a slightly softer look)
Brightness/backlight 45,
Contrast 90,
Black level 40,
Dynamic contrast off, black stretch off, brightness+ on, local dimming low, gamma 0
Colour 48, tint 50, dynamic colour on, colour temp -1
Sharpness 50, digital noise and noise reduction off
Gradation clear (not on V645) low
Motion clarity on, led motion clear off, judder reduction off
Expert calibration settings untouched apart from colour space set to auto.
My Hdr settings are similar although brightness and contrast left at 100 and colour pulled back to around 46
Dolby Vision left alone.
These settings were originally set on V645 but seem ok with V715
As with most things picture quality is subjective but these settings I believe would give a much better baseline to the out of box settings which are way overblown in my opinion.9V640
