Hi guys,

I use a 55c715, it had not been updated in a long time (rom version was early 2020). Ever since I got the TV, YouTube would occassionally get stuck - the picture would freeze, while the audio would continue for a couple of minutes and then it would stop too, with the only way of rebooting being to unplug the tv from power. I updated to v727 with the hopes of 3 years of updates skipped resolving the issue and reinstalled the YouTube app, however the issue persists. Every couple of months the exact same behavior would pop with Netflix as well.

Has anyone faced similar behavior?

I haven't seen it on Netflix, but it has happened on YouTube a bit.

Has been better since I moved to 727, but that may be just luck.

Things seem to have indeed improved with 727 but it is still there

I have a TCL 65P718 can I upgrade to the 727 firmware? I tried with one usb key and it said it could not verify the file. Current firmware is V8-R851T02-LF1V606

Yes, don't unzip !
Check your USB FAT32 connedction with TV first....

I've tried with a first usb and it didn't work. Was FAT32 and all. I changed USB key and it's working perfectly. Thanks.

Hello all, new here. I have a 2019 43" P8M connected to a Samsung Q600A soundbar(new). Firmware version was V634 if I remember correctly (much has passed in the last 2-3 days).

Digital audio out was set on Auto but had bad lip synch issues. Could not hear anything when setting to Passthrough or PCM. So I decided to take the plunge and update and, of course, messed that up.

Tried to do the OTA update to V727 at first but install got hung at about 30% so pulled the plug on the tv, removed the USB and deleted contents. Then downloaded the IMG file of V713(?) And successfully installed that. THEN installed the V727 OTA, successfully this time! YAY!

I then tested the set. App audio was good! I was also now finding and seeing/hearing Dolby Atmos on Netflix which I wasn't finding before. BUT, all channel audio was very, very, very quiet no matter what I set Digital Audio on, even the Auto option which worked before.

I then re-read this thread and noticed I hadn't done either of the recommended resets. I then found and performed a Reset Store (didn't find the Reset All at first), then a Reset All and then another Reset Store. Restarted the TV and voila, I had my audio back! And better yet, my lip synch issues are now minimized!

Everything is working and I have found a couple of settings I didn't have before. Even saw a 'Works with Alexa' setting for a while but said not installed when I tried to enable it. It is gone now.

Applied the picture settings posted a while back with some tweaking on my part and am enjoying the set much more now with fewer frustrations.

Hello all. Turned on my TCL this am and had this blinking in the lower left corner. TV appeared to be working ok but would not turn off even with button on the bottom. Pulled the plug, restarted and then did a Reset Store. Seems to be back to where it was yesterday.

Go to In service menu (9735).....
- Select “9-Sita P mode” and turn OFF
- Or/and Factory menu->Factory hotkey ...disable

I posted earlier about my CoreElec Box with Kodi having problems with HDR10 movies and Dolby sound (the audio would continue while the screen went black). I'm happy to say that 727 appears to have totally solved it... I can once again watch movies with full HD. Happy, happy.

Hello all, i've updated to 727 sucessfully but cannot acces to service menu anymore (9735 on contrast) it tells when that the function is not installed.

So where i can find a full image that also erase settings apps and so on so i can upgrade afterward to V727 ?
