Just set this up earlier today, with mw86's settings, and I can already see the difference. Thanks a lot!

Open build prop again and hit the + at the bottom right corner, you will find your missing prop in there.Hey mw thanks for your hard work and settings. I didn't have the ro.home.adj prop in my phone. How major is that one? And also some of the props I didn't have to change because they already were at what you have posted. Is that normal?
It was there you hit top left to open backup tab an it says that up top... I don't change stuff like that. Not aure why adding those props would add screen on lag, ive had screen on lag since ysing low mhz i think. These settings are the business. Phone feels fantastic.
A bit off topic... But toolbox shows an option to change pixel density... Any benefit to that?
Edit: at least I thought it did...now I can't find it. It was on the left hand side.
The home setting helps keep the launcher you use in the memory so that there is less overhead when you access your launcher app like Nova, Trebuchet etc. Makes for a faster access time, less cpu overhead and saves battery since ita already loaded where it needs to be when accessed. The descriptions are in those pics romtoolbox for each has a little caption, i posted the pics like that so you guys could also know what they do.Hey mw thanks for your hard work and settings. After discussion with Kenny, 320 is optimal for TPR as well.. (Again will cause some app issues) but it's an at your own risk. Make sure you have a good backup incase ya don't like what ya did to it.. But again.. Thanks for the update!CHANGING BUILD PROPS
DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND REMEMBER WHAT YOUR STOCK DPI IS WRITE IT DOWN
Now that is over here we go ok this is simple guild to do this not thst hard to do all you need is rom toolbox to do this and this is mainly for TPR rom not JB rom my jellybombers our DPI is set to where our theme works for our phone which is it is stock 320 it just messes up alot themed apps and other samsung stuff on the phone so as far it goes for TPR you can lower your alil and it want effect you at all.
DPI means pixel density. a lower value will make your device's text and icons appear smaller. A higher value will make everything larger.please note this can cause incompatibility errors through google play. so, ONCE AGAIN DO AT YOUR ON RISK!!!
STEP 1pen rom toolbox and slide to the left and you will see build prop editor and open it up
STEP 2nce open either you can search for it down in bottom left corner or scroll down to it you are looking for- ro.sf.lcd_density
STEP 3:as you can see its already set to 320 which is stock our phone cant handle anything lower then 240 but the further you go down the smaller it gets and the higher you the bigger it gets and if you change it you have to reboot to make it go into effect
so thats how you change your DPI but on another note i wont mess with any of this stuff ill going to leave this for my devs to mess with i dont wont to mess up anything
Just to add, you will need the multi dpi market mod for this too, I've done it, tried it, it wasn't pretty and a mess to fix. Thanks nandroid for the bail out lolAfter discussion with Kenny, 320 is optimal for TPR as well.. (Again will cause some app issues) but it's an at your own risk. Just a heads up to those who do this...after checking the box, watch a video you've recorded on your phone. For mine, the video stops playing as soon as the menu overlay goes away. If i tap the screen and the menu comes back, the video starts playing again.*disable hwoverlay is unchecked at every reboot unlike the other four options. I
That app works fanstastic. Never had any issues on 2 different phones. All I got was better battery and smoother osNo thanks, I deleted that app
Ridin the Mystic jellybean unicorn on my blazing SG3
Have you tried unpimping those phones? These settings are based on manually applying and actually looking at what you are changing, a app is for universal application and all phones are different. PMR was a great app, I used from the first day it was available, flashed it, and had to play with it a lot, but again, to many variables with "out of the box do it all app" and when you don't want it anymore and hit the all in one Unpimp key, talk about a mess, awesome idea for those that want something to just Do it, I prefer manual and reading exactly what I'm doing. Back to the topic of this thread, sorry to ramble. :banghead:That app works fanstastic. Never had any issues on 2 different phones. All I got was better battery and smoother os
