Really like this theme! If the devs are watching this thread, will you let us know if a Froyo version will be available? I used the site-based Q&A, haven't gotten any responses after 2 tries over the past week.

Edit: site devs responded to my inquiry.

Sorry to have missed that, we have a member on vacation still. Since this is built for CyanogenMod and CM7 Official was just released (we will be updated shortly) this theme and the other being built is actually built on Gingerbread seems how CM7 is built on Gingerbread. Hope this helps...

hey you guys check out our blog which I just made for us at http://www.magnam0d.com/blog

This is going to be the easiest way for us to post updates and the easiest way for us to respond to your comments and questions in the comments.

Thanks,
Ljbaumer

P.S. @smtom I responded to both of your messages a while ago

Can't tell if the CM7 final version of Forbidden theme is up, based on your site/blog. I'm sure you'll update the title or something when it is up, though; I had to downgrade recently because the dial-out mic on my phone stopped working (again) and I'm not gonna re-root until I know that this AWESOME theme is good to go for CM7 stable lol.

The reason I ask is because I flashed this over CM7 nightly 35 (a shoot of RC4 before RC5) and it was fine; I flashed nightly 38 and got bootloops with the same theme. Just wanting to make sure I don't bork my phone AGAIN lol, it's very frustrating to dump my SD card, wipe everything, use the RUU and wait a few days for the phone to stabilize before re-rooting. By which time I've missed like 20 ROM and theme releases or updates lol.

The forums have been updated but the website is on RC4 for a short time. The download link in the OP says CyanogenMod 7 Final that's how I thought best to make sure everyone knew which one was which

Hey so are the CM7 final updates working for everyone?
Working fine here. Except that my CM7 is borked and doesn't use my mic for calling out (so people can't hear me when I call them), but that's on me restoring data that's been corrupted. The theme works fine :)

Edit (4/18): fixed phone. Kind of off-topic, but that still proves the theme is unrelated to screwing up phones. Now, on a more serious question, will this theme be updated (if you want to, Team Magna) to support the images from the "8G" network hack? I think I tried mixing that and your theme together and did not get pretty results...and it didn't really look like the network hack was doing me all that much, but it might be nice to have, and it'd be awesome to have that hack alongside the best CM7 theme on the proverbial market (because the icons on the stock network hack look kind of bland IMO, not trying to offend anyone who uses it or developed it).

What hack are you talking about? I've never even heard of it lol (I wish I had cyanogenmod on my d2)

Ok, I just flashed Forbidden and I don't have a phone app anymore. Any Ideas why? Looks like a good theme, but can't keep without a phone.

Edit: No contacts either.

You should always wipe your phone. Try that and post updates if further problems.

I did a full wipe:

Factory reset
Cache partition
Dalvick

Then I flashed the Forbidden zip.

No phone or contacts. I'll try again though.

Ok, I got Forbidden to flash, and during setup while trying to sign into Google, the message:

The application android
keyboard (process com.android.
inputmethod.latin) has stopped
unexpectedly. Please try again.

...comes up. I backed up to the first page to change the language to
English. The message still comes up.
Any thoughts on this one?

Edit: Phone and contacts are there now. the force close issue still baffles me after playing
with it for a while. Restored until I can figure it out.

How'd you get the phone and contacts to appear? I had that issue also.

Did a full wipe a second time and re-flashed. Still don't know what's up with
the force close on the keyboard though. Can't do much until I get that figured
out.

Edit: Try CWM 3.0.0.7 for better wiping.
