Any chance of getting this updated to a more recent version of TWRP? I have some big games (Baldurs Gate, etc) that will only install to internal storage. To accommodate I've set my SD card as Internal Storage (which works great). The only issue is the 3.0.2.0 TWRP does not seem to recognize SD cards that have been formatted as internal storage.

This means no LineageOS updates once the SD card is set up this way... I thought I read somewhere that new TWRP versions could read and write to this setup...

I'm running TWRP 3.1.1.0 on mine and have been for a good while. Do a search and you'll find it to flash. And I've been updating LineageOS with the nightly builds since it 1st came out for this pad. With my internal storage merged with my SD card to boot.

Quick edit - I tried with 3.1.1.0 and every time I flashed LineageOS it would reboot to recovery. Turns out I had a bad image. Downloaded the latest LineageOS nightly and all is well.

Thanks for pointing me to 3.1.1.0!

Can anyone attest to have this working on the v522 Canadian variant of this tablet?
Hi,

did you get any kind of response? Have you been successful in rooting the LG G Pad v522?

I got mine from Fido years ago and I am looking for a way to remove the junk bloatware that is not working anymore anyway (and which occupy a substantial amount of space) as LG discontinued providing service for must of them.
