i dob't even have TWRP, i've been flashing the nougat firmware so that i can use fastboot. i just need to toggle the OEM unlock but Google's FRP won't let me

it's a phone my girlfriend had lying around, that was carrier locked to the US, bought on a trip sometime ago. she has since degoogled and tells me the account doesn't even exist anymore
Yes, per Google enabling OEM unlock requires:
1. You first enable the option within Android under Settings->System->Developer Options->Enable OEM
unlock

2. You then boot into bootloader mode and connect a USB cable to a PC with fastboot installed.
You then run the following command from a Powershell session in Windows:
fastboot flashing unlock

Here are my latest compiled kernels for nougat pre-packed rooted tested and zipped on thier respective devices. I was having a glitch that was causing a panic due to the toolchains exidx arm unwind warnings causing the unwind not to work and rebooting evety few hours. All the goodies and extras are there invluding ntfs devtmpfs msdos usb otg msm-usb-otg a crap load of drivers governor hot plug its all there. So far 3 days no panic and going strong.

fast_charge is compiled but im still working on how to get sysfs to show it in sys/kernel/. New modules are included as well.

Edit:::::

I forgot to mention that i was able to temove the block that caused failures when compiling kernels or othet firmwares on your phone.

As a side note. Buildibg a kernel on your device can be easily achieved by un-tarring the source and running the build in the /sdcard folder.
You're the man! So once ive flashed this the bugged out other roms that wouldn't work or work right should work? (Mainly trying to find a Lineage one) but have only been able to find stuff for other variants. Would this help my situation with PBRB recovery as well? I have the Aristo 2 plus. Right now I have TWRP and magisk. X212MA20E. When I had to use error recovery from lg bidge it says I'm x212ta

well there are a few reason the roms wouldnt boot. one could be the kernel and ramdisk configuration another could be a bad compilation of the rom. if your thinking the lineage or aosp roms for cv1 can be fixed... nope. i have tried every thing i know and xda knows to get those roms to work but they wont.

but after looking at the source code files in the github repos its pretty easy to see why. You have changes made to the boardconfig.mk files that make me laugh and some that make me want to strangle someone.

but i am in the process of trying to compile some system images and hope to have some working images soon. But im gonna keep them all pure aosp with no changes to source. i figure you can get a better product that way.

I have a problem...

My aristo 2 has been hacked. The person was able to mount and change my firmware partition as well as compile parts of a system image to replace my own. Also automatic bluetooth configs to copy logs and media and send them to the person when their phone was near. I believe it was also recording me at all times.

I'm trying to remove the hacks by re-installing the nougat prerooted rom but I keep getting bootloops. Any one know how to fix this

How is everypne

I have been out of pocket for a while. Just wanted to check in and see what's up. Probably not too many people using the Aristo 2 any more.
I still have mine, but I'm now using a Samsung Galaxy A30s as my main MetroPCS phone.

Is there a reason why the Lightning Beta ROM is 32-bit based when the processor is 64-bit? Also, did you ever get around to finishing that Debloated version of the Lightning ROM?
The reason is that the Lightning ROMs are based off Stock LG firmware and LG chose to use a 32 bit kernel system for this phone.

The bootloader on my Aristo 2 is unlocked. It shows the unlock pause screen on bootup. What method would lock or relock an unlocked bootloader? Thanks!

Your work on the cv1 is vast and appreciated. Wanted to clear some things up.
Your old method that links here references the USCellular K8+ as a compatible cv1. Is this still the case with this final method? My own research suggested the K8+ is the same cv1. I question this because I flashed a USC k8+ with your twrp package and it bricked. No bootloader, no LEDs, no USB recognition. This was back around June or so. To be clear, there is no bootloader anymore.
I know another user had the identical situation occur, but I didn't follow the thread. It felt like Oreo anti roll back, but no bootloop. Once twrp is done and I hit reboot to recovery, bright white screen that faded black and was the last sign of life. I've seen it before on other devices, and I threw it in the box of bricks. Maybe recoverable with sdcard, but I wasn't in the mood to deal with it.
Stumbled back on this thread today and thought I should post. I'm in no hurry to do anything with it, not sure I care if I can. But if there's a potential problem, I'd be happy to help you with it.
