media server + battery

my media server is at 50+% all the time and my battery runs out really fast. i get 30mins of hd video on balance mode and if i choose save battery mode the video stutters when playing hd videos (so it gets annoying to watch). does anyone have this problem or have a solution to sort it out?3


on max setting while playing dead trigger 2 i get 1% a min of battery usuage
on balance setting i get hd video + wifi + 0 brightness + 0 volume 30mins per 10% of battery (same with browsing web)
on saving i get 40ish mins per 10% of battery while browsing web

my media server is always 50+% even after i turned off all sync unistalled apps and even after factory reset

Don't root this just for Sixaxis controller BTW. It doesn't work with the TN7 BT drivers. They must be similar to HTC.

No! damn I was hoping to use my sixaxis on this oh well time to invest in another controller!

can somebody check in the system settings if the german language is included?
its still not buyable here so i am considering an import from the uk, but i would like to use it in german.

E: thanks to Ksehwail i know the answer - german is included. just in case someone wants to know =)

I spoke with EU EVGA and got the info that in couple of weeks that should be selling Tegra Note in EU as well. Let's hope that they will be offering accessories as well as I cannot find DirectStylus Pro anywhere to buy in UK and EVGA US is not shipping internationally.

Has anyone been able to find a gamepad/controller that works with the TN7 yet? My son is going nuts and I don't to go through the hassle of ordering controllers that don't work.

This one works for me just fine. Plus you can use it with your PC or mac and if you have WiFi near by you can play console games on tablet via onlive.

Moga are shown on the nvidia site..
I used a wired xbox 360 controller with mine (pc version but I can't see any difference to the standard).

This is the one I ordered, but I ordered it from geekbuying for $27 and isn't here yet (slow boat from china). It gets good reviews for being a generic moga pro? so we will see when it gets here.

Well the usb charging port broke on my tegra note fortunately I had the accidental damage cover so it's been refunded - really miss it but that's a poor quality port never had issues on my mobile I use and charge more than the tegra note
