If you have the android SDK installed then just use the standard adb drivers.

Been keeping an eye on things here regarding tegra note 7 since i purchased this device, happy as have CWM workibg and booting, needs a few touch ups before i will release... Also will work on kitkat for note as not a big fan of current 4.2.2 and 4.3...
To give you guys a headstart here is a fully functioning CWM6.0.4.5 latest compiled
Will create thread...
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
I am not responsible if you device decides to soft brick/ hardbrick or eveb fly out the window
Access recovery in pc via terminal/cmd
Adb reboot recovery
Or within the device...
Terminal emulator

How do you install the OTA 4.3 ROM?
Anyone knows how to do this? I have a Homecare TN7 and I want to install the clean version (without Chinese apps). I also am having a hard time rooting the tablet. I've tried doing as instructed on the OP but no luck.Can't get the tablet to restart as I don't have root. Turning it off and on won't do it. Tried the fastboot method and got an error. I was able to install the recovery though.

Is it safe to install on a UK Advent Tegra Note 7 or should I wait for it to come via OTA? Thanks!!
Read the instructions at the start post.
Put the OTA file in the directory;
/sdcard/nvidia/app/ota/download/rom/
Then restart the tablet. It should update the files without formatting the partition.
As far as I know Nvidia sells the Tegra Note circuit board and other items as OEM. The tablet may come to retailers pre-made or the factory reseller can assemble the tablet with slight changes. Each tailor the Android instance to suit their branding. Tegra 4 chips can not be bricked permanently, so at worse you can only software brick the tablet and fix it when someone releases a recovery, so risk is low of damaging the unit.
If you have CWM Recovery and it's easily obtainable with button at start-up then it would be pretty safe to use the updates to overwrite or add the Google Apps released in Western Nations.

Nvidia is probably the distributor of the patches, so they are probably oem based on brand and nation. The alternative is Nvidia helped OEM Retailers setup servers. I doubt the Retailers have the skills to perform these task as some can't even stop spam on their forums, etc, let alone deploy updates to mass customers.

I was a thinking the same, if anyone had a chance to look inside I guess the bootscreen says 'EVGA' on the ROM posted. I'll see later if anyone from the UK has installed it, might get the OTA by then.. Will try and upload it if I do.
