tegra note who's getting one?

Just got mine from Newegg, great tablet, more responsive than Nexus 7. While I enjoyed the Camera Awesome app that is bundled with the tablet, I miss the default Android camera app primarily for Photosphere and the ability to save photos to SD card. Camera Awesome doesn't seem to offer these features. Anyone know of a solution?

Got it and love it!!!!!
I must say I had quite a few tablets (Android, iOS and Win8) and so far this one is my favourite.
Small, powerful - cheap and has a stylus.
I hope it will be with me for long time (until Tegra 5 ).
I have been using it mostly to play few games (The Conduit HD - I lost my jaw on the floor - superb game). Tegra really is showing some power here.
Some casual tasks and net browsing so far I couldn’t find anything where this tablet would let me down. Let’s hope I will not find
I do not complain about low resolution as I do not really feel its lack and 1GB of RAM hasn't show any consequences as of yet. Everything is fast and fluid.
I do not expect this tablet to be a huge market success as names like Advent or Evga are not going to sell as good as Asus, Samsung or Apple.
But for all who know that this tablet really is it will be little pearl.
Now where I can find a dedicated case (not the flappy thing that is covering only screen) for my little precious? to keep it in mint condition as long as I can.

I wish they'd come back in stock so I could purchase one....anybody know if they'll be available anywhere besides newegg? I signed up to be alerted when they're back in stock. I find it hard to believe they expect this thing to be very popular....newegg is an exceptional site....but probably not very popular among the general population (although they are currently sold out so maybe I should just eat my words).

According to the moderator on the EVGA forums, the EVGA store should be selling them sometime this week. No idea who else might sell them.

As for the sold out status. They may have been doing a smaller initial run to see if the demand is enough to warrant a larger run.

Curious. does anyone else have a square micro-usb port? It takes the plug without problem, however when trying to plug it in in the middle of the night sometimes it's hard to get just the right angle.

4.3? mine got OTA update 380MB but it is still 4.2.2 and update description said something about improved prerformance.

Still after using Samsung (and waiting years for updates) it is great to see updates being released so fast for this device.

Don't know if this will be any help but UK version of Tegra Note is available from PC World (both in store and online) don't know thou if they ships internationally?

Just got mine from NewEgg in the U.S. Got OTA right away, but still 4.2.2 (according to About screen in Settings).

Didn't use pre-OTA for very long, but seems palm recognition was changed in the OTA.

Speaking of just getting the Tegra Note... Really quick impression...

Quick on initial basic use. Stylus is quick and responsive.

Build quality is pretty poor. Top half overhangs bottom by a mm or so in a couple of places, and one side has a slight ripple where the mm overhang is (like they glued it down wrong?). On the other hand, no give/creek.

Just picked mine up today from curry's in the UK, loving it so far! Had an Ota that's changed my start up animation, but still on 4.2.2.ota download to storage/nvidea/App/ota/download/ROM. Hope that's of use to someone.

My only issue is trying to play asphalt 8, it says its detecting a controller but I have nothing connected to my tab. Can't play asphalt whilst it's detecting a none existent controller. Any idea?

Nvidia are allowing others to sell this device. Gigabyte and Huawei, included. It could spark on a generic way os selling tablets liken to video cards.

I just hope they bring out 'pro' versions of each era of these tablets, and include phone version with stylus.

You can buy the Tegra Note from AliExpress but many of the Chinese sellers are profiteering off its new status.

I think Gameloft just figures all Tegra 4 devices are the Nvidia Shield so the game automatically sees Tegra 4 and assumes it must be the shield. Hopefully they quickly fix this as I find using a controller on a 7inch screen awkward. Although I have found an App called "Game Keyboard" which requires root access that allows you to assign touchscreen buttons to it so it was working that way. Kinda a band aid until Gameloft fixes this.

Got mine at the start of this month and bought it online in China. Got it for the equivalent of $235 including shipping (local address) and the cover. After using it for a few days, I somehow dropped it and the cover came off. Was able to put it back but it kept coming off so I decided to just leave it off and wait for a proper case that I've seen being sold in Amazon. Got it pre-rooted so Google apps are installed.

Bought it for the stylus for my lessons since I'm not much into "serious" tablet gaming. One thing I noticed is that palm rejections is spotty. When you rest your palm on the bezel, the device registers it as a touch and you can't write. Still getting the hang of using the stylus. I was using SNote before but the Note 2 screen was too small. Was able to convert my notes into PDF and use it on the Note 7 using an app called Note Anytime. Has anyone else tried any other app for taking notes? One that can import PDF files?

Same problem in GT Racing 2. I already reported the problem to Gameloft. Let's do it together then push them to make the update ASAP.

Btw, I always use it to play psp emu ppsspp. Now I'm playing FF7:Crisis core. It is smooth like a dream.

I reported the problem to gameloft as well and they wrote back saying we don't support your device at this time.
Typical gameloft. I'm glad I found game keyboard app though it really makes the controls work.

I got 35300 first test & 34879 on the 2nd. Either way, it's fast.
