then try an earlier version...
1.5.7 worked fine....took a while to find it :)
It looks like the GPU speed sticks, also the governor change. Trying "interactive" now, as I like this on my phone - which of course has totally different requirements.
Ideally it should be "performance" to peg the clock at 1.7GHz, but that of course generates heat and gets the fan going...mine is pretty loud.

Why should you bother about clockspeeds on this device. We have no battery and active cooling so just stay with performance governor. Tegra 3 can handle temps up to 85degrees Celsius anyway

In my experience, setting at performance caused XBMC to crash way more so that is why I don't keep it at performance. Clockspeed makes all the difference for playing games.

I guess then there is an issue with system stability. Will take a look at the voltage table and compare to similar hardware.
