will I have to reinstall this app after jackalope? when I press the optimize button now nothing happens
Jackalope??? What exactly are you trying to say.... If you have installed the app with the EPRJ 4.4 kernel then I am afraid that it won't work as the app was designed to support the Stock kernel only. Just wait and I will implement it to use the maximum potential of this kernel :)

Is is saying you have superuser permissions? I just updated too and its working like it should for me. You could also download supersu from the play store and make sure that gets su permissions and then use that as your app to handle permissions. I use it and like it better. Either that or try to clear the overclock app from superuser so it has to re-authenticate.

I don't know the specifics and I haven't tried it, but I remember reading somewhere that the gpu was clocked back up to its maximum in the jackalope update.
Thats weird, because chrono blade and meltdow are lagging with the last update (even with this app on) and they werent before it.

CyanogenMod Kernel Option?

Now that CM nightlies have moved into the front-runner of Ouya ROM popularity, will you publish a version to run with the CM kernel?

Thank you in advance for your great work!

I am working on the Eternity kernel currently and will start working on CM kernel as soon as I got my job finished here. I have many features planned. This all month delay was because a virus infected my PC and just ruined my life. I have to recover from that first and that slowed everything to a crawl...

Just be patient and we all will have great stuff :)

Hey consider me dead only when I don't reply in 2-3 days LOL... Yup two months are quite long considering the delay. Heck I wasn't even able to update my paid apps! But all is well when it ends well and you must wait for the END :p

Hi, I bought ouya exclusive to play 1080p movie via XBMC. I wonder if overclock would make decode movie better. Thanks

What version are you using??? The one in the official store and SPMC should decode 1080p movies just fine. I've not had any problems with it. Also, SPMC has all of the codecs that XBMC on Ouya was forced to take out for legal reasons.

I am using xbmc 13 beta 1 intead of offical store verison. This version is great.I can play most of 720P or 1080p mkv. By this version, ouya can decode 5.1 surrounding sound effect and output it to my home theater via hdmi. But it has a little problem. Somtimes it lags for 1 second when playing 1080P movie. So I wonder if overclock could make it play movie perfectly.

Suggest you try: Beyond XBMC Beta 3.4 (OUYA Version)

Works great along with Tegra Overclock!

@Eyedoctor2
Just curious what it is you like about Beyond XBMC that Gotham doesn't do better?

I'm wondering if I'm missing something because I know they mention they have video acceleration implemented, but as far as I know, LibStagefright alone (without MediaCodec) is the trick for the Ouya and Gotham v13 Betas are running better than Frodo v12 on the Ouya, by a longshot IMHO.

From your post history I got the feeling you had tried both so I thought I'd check to get an idea of where Beyond XBMC might be better?

Thanks in advance!
